next time you're after a pair.. hit me up.. i have pretty good connections in the sneaker world...

as for the leather its really nice for a $160 sneaker.. however i like the stiff leather and the feel more of my slp's..

i wish nike would cut the BS remastered crap... and just make quality kicks with good materials.. the inflation of athletic sneakers is insane, considering they are using cheaper products to construct them now, while steadily bumping the price up

holy **** the SLP lacing is so ******ed

how is anyone suppose to adjust it and wear it the way they have em laced? :lol:

i kept trying to make the OG lacing work but it would keep coming out in the wrong holes looking ******ed

Word bro...they only sold in two stores in US were more limited for sure. But yeah of course overseas more popular more access to them. I haven't seen anyone in real life besides my cousin either who I put on to get them. I was just checking to see who may be interested.

I've seen them a fair amount a couple years back maybe. Seemed like people were looking for more/different high end options and started wearing them a bit but they didn't catch on too well and they never became popular or well known around me.

They're a little much for me. The same people I used to see wearing them were the same who used to carry the embellished MCM bags and such- A lot going on

I stopped by the Gucci store in macys today and seen the converse joints on sale for 220 a pop, clean sneakers. Guess Gucci must've really got played out

interesting Ive never seen that but to each's own. Ive gotten plenty compliments everywhere Ive worn them in different countries or here but its whatever. Only reason Im selling them because I have too much in my opinion Im not wearing. They sold out immediately in the US when they released the leather color ways last year. 

Well high end can be something you can debate I wont debate with you tho about it. Im not a fan of MCM bags or any lil book bags people where even people thought gucci backpacks were "fly."

I see what your saying though they aren't for everybody.

For sure bro, I'm not dogging them. I know they sold quickly and all. Just not for me. My comment mentioning the MCM was to say who was into them and how they were worn around me- more flashy

I've actually seen your outfits with them from a while back in here and you kept it simple, probably the best I've seen them worn. Aleili May used to wear them a lot and they weren't bad on her either.

As always, opinions are varied and when designs are so bold/different, opinions are even more polarized.All in all, though I wouldn't buy them, I respect the variety
