I just like the overall look of the first boot better I think. Although, I haven't seen it in person yet. It could potentially be a little too much. My pair will be here later this week- we'll see. I could post more photos maybe to help your decision [my quick iPhone shots aren't the best, I know]

Also, my Visvims came in the other day and my God the leather is the softest I've ever touched. It's almost weird feeling lol

oh wow, i didn't even realize it was the lateral. I just assume zippers go on the medial. well the decision seems to be easier lol

they need to come back with the pleateds, the real pleated with big pleats. they're leaving money on the table. if they can make all these colorways of areans they can do the pleats.

Agreed, but it will depend on what the new creative director decides. Not sure if they even filled the spot after Alexander Wang left.
 
I think the Arenas are still pretty popular, I still rarely seen it go for a discount (unless I've just been blind to them since I am not looking to get another pair). Might not be flying off the shelves anymore but either they still sell most before sales or they are excluded and stores are fine with that.

I do hope the hype has died down and the black upper with white midsole goes for 30%-50% off and then it's insta-cop. Black waxed laces are like $10 on ebay so not even sweating the white laces. I'd get a pair of the white upper with black sole too if that goes below retail.


Really not even sure Wang had anything to do with the shoes during his time at Balenciaga. They were churning out the same thing for the most part, it was their cash cow so it was likely the corporate who has been churning em out.

The Cotes or w/e they call the high top go on the sales racks at my NM. Large sized Arena's do as well. Honestly I like their runners but current Balenciaga quality should be Common Projects priced. 
 
What brand is it? Is it that dudes line (guy on i)? Because I don't think it is considered a "leak" if the designers the one that's posting the pics. :lol:


It's an amalgam of Rick, CP and Balmain.
 
It's alright for what it is, style just isn't for me. It's like a clean oversized grunge? It can look overwhelming and like a try-hard if you go full FoG, doesn't work for everyone.

Come to think of it, it is like a more refined Yeezy collection (or Kaney derelicted FoG?) where the fit and drape serves more purpose and looks better than Kanye just throwing oversized monotonous everything on his models.

I think they just showed a lookbook of the latest collection today? I haven't checked it out but I do recall there being some good looks on his last collection with coats and slim pants and tan shoes/boots.
 
All these pics of Visvims makes me want to wear mine. I forgot my pair at my home in LA and won't be back till May

Not liking how they chose grey/silver with the black and red ones, but on these it looks pretty cool, excited to see more pictures even though I won't cop them.  Glad I was able to sell my almost new beige lin ones the other week (sold it for only $325, but eh what can you do, I didn't need/want them).  NM had a ton go on sale this past summer, I think they were 30-40% off, normal sizes too, like 42's and 43's.  The suede grey/black, suede blue/black, the bleu torrent, and I think several others.  The overproduction of them dropped their value.  I still think they're awesome shoes and although the quality is not what it used to be, I think the price on them is still fair.
