I sized down 2 from my true size but it's all personal preference. The shape of the BV's doesn't look as good to me when the boot looks long so I try to take the smallest I can comfortably. Also, there's a lot of room up front so I can take a smaller size without them being too narrow like the SL jodphur.
 
dang i wish i could pull the trigger on those BVs.  Too expensive for me

I'm surprised it took this long to see some all red 01H's. I think they're a little too late though.
I'd love to see them done in all natural/off white or maybe an all grey pair.

And yes, in my relatively brief experience with visvim, they run true to size. unfortunately, I wear a true 12 but I pull off an 11 with dress socks and they stretch a bit, as the leather is incredibly soft.

appreciate it. i just dont want to buy something way too big haha. i'm like an 8.5-9 in most everything besides nike (diadora, nb, saucony). nike i have to jump to a 9 or my toes feel too jammed. i think i'll just roll with a 9 in these. id rather have them a little loose then too tight to wear.
 
Yeah, I think you'd be ok with a 9. Assuming you're buying a pair from the current season. I've read that pat seasons run a bit larger I think. So keep that in mind.
 
Haha, nah not yet I don't think.

I'm ready for something new though. Those FoG sneakers looked promising but will probably be unattainable.

so you grab a sz 10 in the bv's? i think we are the same size. you been to the Chicago store?

Haha, yeah my man got vocal and started talking in circles.

P python yeah, I got a 10 in the BV's. I was just at the Chicago store Friday. They don't have any toffees in besides a 41 that's on hold. I ordered my pair from BV's site. The SA said they'll be getting the navy pair in soon and a restock of the greys.

I don't like the SA's there at all. Several times they've talked condescendingly towards me and my girl. The older woman used to work at LV and she was awful there too.

Saks carries BV too so if you're in Chicago and looking, I'd check there too. They're on the lower of the two men's floors. Can't speak on current stock though.
