Apparently the black with white midsoles don't even exist.
Someone on the previous page even said don't be suprised if they ship you the black/black midsoles.

I'm also hearing if you order the Black/White off the site they actually send you the Black/Black pair.

i tried them on yest and werent for me..width wise they fit but the front of the shoe was too long for me...luckily i tried them on before blindly buyingbecause it wasnt a good look on my foot.

yeah i dont believe black with white mid sole doesnt exist must have been a sample or an exclusive becuase at the ysl the sales guy said he has never seen theblack with white and mention it must have been the blue pair. Secondly the ysl feel weird on your foot very flat to the ground i recommend getting some insolesgel maybe. i wear 9.5 in everything sneakers / 8.5 in pradas and 8.5 in guccis so i got 41.5 in the ysl. i had the red in 42 and they were too bigg. broughtthem back and got the 41.5 blacks. i am not gonna lie usher , neyo and other celebs i ve seen rocking them and they ysl store salesman said the red is the mostpopular and is limited.

i tried on the ysl all black patents. I didnt like how high they came up. I woulda wanted the black patent with white midsole but those werent in store

The shoes run pretty big. I would go a half size down that what you normally wear in other sneakers. I have the red pair and I bought them a 10.5 and Ishould've got a 10. And about the black pair, they do not come with a white midsole. They are black/black I guess thats a sample pic you see on the site.Even the red ones are different on the pic and have different color laces.

Terrible pics, but I'll contribute either way. Here are the slip on joints I was referring to a couple pages back, due out for Spring '09

Thanks for the pics Airmax, but damn Spring '09? That is still a while to go. I hope they release more colorways though.
The ones with the white back isn't really much fo a difference and the ones with the brown back looks much better.
They need to release these in black or dark grey uppers with black midsole.
Great pics Airmax, keep us updated if you get clearer pics.

Definitely. There are other ones also I guess that NT would like, some YSL joints, Prada etc. Next time I have my camera handy I'll keep it in mind.

necessary. how pre-orders go for things like gucci? fiendin for them slips and not willing to pay ANYTHING over retail.

Thanks for those pics, both looking good, but I'm leaning towards the 1st one. But time will tell when production model comes out I guess.

Spring sounds good to me, not like canvas slips would be good in the snow anyways.

. They have them here in San Francisco.

^^^ Try E-luxury.com or Louisvuitton.com. Those are the only two online stores that sells LV items and any LV in any other online retailers has got to be fake.
If they are sold out online, just give the closest LV store a call and hope that your name is on their system so they could ship it to you.

No need to pre-order, especially this early. I don't really think it will sell out too quick and not many people are lining up to resell theseso just wait, keep a look out in this thread and someone will let us know when it is out and then purchase. This will probably be available at Gucci.com,Saks.com and NM.com so no worries.

Yeah, I think the level of difficulty will be very low in trying to get those slips. With many retailers besides Gucci boutiques selling Gucci shoes (unlikeLV), looks like an easy pickup come Spring time, just hope they are around 3-4, don't really wanna spend more than that, but I'll see when they gettried on.
Can easily see myself wearing them a lot in nice weather.

Retail was around $340 and most of the time, when it coems to canvas lowtops like these that aren't too complicated, they charge no more than $400 soit's a safe bet.
I can see it retailing for $340-$350 max. Around summertime, you amy even find some of these go on sale, if you know how to look.

That's true about the sales thing, I always see Gucci Sneakers on sale or clearance.
I guess it depends if you wanna risk it...

WOW! Slip ons again. They are really coming back out I see. I hope they are kinda narrow so I wear them.
And yes you can find gucci shoes on sale at alot of places including, NM, Saks, Nordstorm Rack, Off Saks, NM Outlet, and of course the gucci outlet.
