i spoke to Lian and this issue will be fixed starting on dec 14 all boots from that point forward will have a nylon pull tab matching the suede color. I'm pretty sure the stitching didn't penetrate all the way through that thick double folded leather causing this problem. The nylon will be way better imo. The leather pull tab is too bulky and rubs my Achilles the wrong way. Slp and most other boot companies use nylon pull tabs.

Anyone own yet? Such a clean shoe. Bet the leather is way better than SLP.

I owned a pair of those same ones. Quality was just OK- nowhere near nice enough to merit the price [not even the sale price I got them at].
Sold mine. That photo makes them look great though.
