I rarely say this, but this fit is ridiculously dope.

Does anybody own the LV Monte Carlo and could tell me how well they hold up? i plan on buying a pair in the next few weeks. I plan on purchasing the brownleather ones with the goldish logo on it I think there $650 plus tax, Then the i saw the red suede ones and thet really caught my eye but I know thats riskyspending $600+ on suede shoes and the colorway isnt very versatile but they are fire. Im a college student and i plan on wearing them maybe 3 four times amonth either to class or special events, and I need them to last for a while.
would you recommend something else?

Another shoe i need some info on are the Gucci Slip on's are they comfortable/durable? I was a fan of the canvas but the leather ones are more for me andare practical year round.

Thank you

^^I think the LV MCs hold up pretty well. Yea I looked at a black patent pair yesterday (btw anyone have those being worn?). They are also comfy. I own andolder pair and so far so good.

And the Gucci slips are ok in being comfortable and they are pretty durable but I do think the fabric will start to ravel later if worn alot.

I've had the patents since they came out and they have held up very well.

^Thanks guys
and yeah if anyone has a worn pair (LV) to post that would also be greatly appreciated.
The patents are nice but i think they are a little too dressy for me. but if was in my mid 20's id be all over them.

Also does anyone know the name of the prada's that resemble the jack purcells? I've had my eye on them since winter the leather is so smooth onthose..they make me want to make that transition and put away my jacks for those.

Prada doesn't really name their sneakers other than the A-Cups, which are now called Nevada Bike.
Those chuck look-a-like Pradas are just called low-top or high-top leather sneakers.

^Thanks again

I went to the LV store today to try them on but my sz wasnt availible but they said they could ship them out, but im just gonna wait until i have the money tocop then come back. I think loafers are the way to go imo, everything else there was either too dressy (for a college student) or too casual such as thesneakers which im trying to stay away from.

also is there much difference in quality between lets say the LV monte carlo and the Gucci Driver(the bamboo piece joints) or Prada drivers which are about$400+.
i have always believed that LV>Gucci but i own neither as of now so yeah..lol
can you feel/see or tell the differences between them?

Awesome, thanks for the heads up.
Even though they only have a size 8.5US (7.5UK) and I need a 7.5G (not sure what size is what) I placed the order and if it doesn't fit I guess I'lljust return it.
To those interested in ordering, use the code AFF30 for an extra $30 off $150+ purchase. It is only applicable to first orders though so I just used anew/different e-mail address and it worked.

Thanks agains kicks409, appreciate the help.

I bought them about a month ago and I don't regret it. I told myself I'd never buy a pair of designer sneakers because every one I'vetried (A-Cups, Gucci, whatever) were horrifically uncomfortable and felt cheap. But those feel amazing. The leather is insanely soft, the support is good, andI've never had so many compliments on a pair of shoes. If I had a little more money I'd buy a second pair so I could wear the ones I already have towork more often.

dmbrhs, thanks for the input on those, and yes the leather on those are butter, i own no shoes that have leather as soft as those..smh.
and your right most designer sneakers arent that comfortable (for the price your paying) especially gucci's imo they hightops just feel heavy and stiff...ihavent tried on any low tops.

Honestly, I am not sure if I got the 7.5G or the 8.5G, bluefly's sizing is all over the place so there is a chance I get an 8.5G, which would fit too big.
The price is irresistible though, especially since I got it for an extra 10% off that ended sometime last night because when I check this morning, the 10% offis gone.
Good thing I waited though, I was ready to pay retail at Nordstrom, but thanks to kicks409, I also saved $40+ on tax through bluefly.

Armen also got a pair, he got lucky since the size 10 wasn't there when I ordered mine.

They also have the Gucci leather bomber jacket in black and brown, very tempting but they only have my size in the brown version.

SMH. . .the one time I don't check Bluefly and they have the Gucci boat shoes on there.
