To just dunk it he couldve jumped much earlier but the point was to get high

So, Jamario's first attempt at the foul line dunk wasn't dunked, but it went in when he bobbled it. They didn't count it because he didn't"dunk" it.

Why does Dwight Howard, who threw the ball... didn't dunk it, why does that "dunk" count?
