TRU Soundwave has all the minions included and his eyes are yellow like the og toy. Tak Soundwave has red eyes like the cartoon and only comes with Laserbeak.
 
Sweet. I remember missing out on the Takara one and I was able to snag one off the TRU website randomly one day. I was fine with that one just cause it had all the minions.

I suppose it's time to open him up :pimp:

Definitely. The good thing about MP’s are that the box looks just as nice as the figure and you don’t really have to destroy anything to take him out. There’s too much coolness in that box to keep it sealed any longer :lol:

I just setup a white poster board in front of the window so I wait until I get home in the afternoon to take pics, although I've been needing to get gray construction paper since that reflects back less light. I do need to step up my picture game though as janitor's and some of the other guys pics are pretty crisp.

I do a really basic homemade light box setup, just google some images for "light box" or "light tent". My setup's similar to this

Still need to add a third top light.

Camera's a starter DLSR (Canon T3i) I'm still tinkering with, learning as I go.

Don't think the code is valid anymore. Bring it back to toys r us and price match it to their website. You'll still save a few dollars

Lol. It's all good. We all start there man. The kit lens is great to learn with.

If you ever want to grab another lens, I'd suggest the 50mm 1.8 or 40mm 2.8. The wider aperture allows you get a shallower depth of field and lets more light in. They're also fairly cheap for lenses. I'd say grabbing the 50 got me more interested in photography after learning what the f/1.8 actually meant.

^awesome. TFA Cap is in my top 5 figures of all time.

Did you see the Golden Age version that went up for PO yesterday? They look similar to the naked eye but there's actually alot of differences between the two. Enough so to warrant me to PO it :lol:

But that Winter Soldier one is probably my most anticipated figure of the year now :smokin

I got an email on it but didn't have a chance to see what was different about it. What did they switch up?

I didn't see that Winter Soldier figure though! When does that go up for PO??
 
A couple notable changes are the top is now a "vest", extra stripes, no chest strap/leg gun holster and the shield will be die-cast. I'm actually surprised it took less than 24 hours to be waitlisted since a lot of the complaints earlier was that it was the exact same figure :lol:

Yeah, surprisingly, it is. And what's weird is that Canadians weren't able to PO it either which means that's either not that many figures or patriotism/movie hype is at an all time high :lol:

I think if you hop on the waitlist today though, chances are good you'll get one.
