I owe my career to Method Man and Niketalk. True Story.

MM's inbox is going to start getting FILLLED with college essay soon :nerd:

forreal tho, NT is still alive and active cause of MM..

Either your trolling or your about to be my 2nd in command.
Either way if your still in h.s. and your trying to haul *** for college...do what you can do then apply to all the colleges you want to get in and some CC's....if you go to a CC then find out what the minimum transfer reqs. you need from your CC and talk to the admissions dept at the college(s) you want to go to and see what they need. Be on a best friend status with someone from the admissions dept at these colleges so they can help you out when the time comes to transition.
naw i really do admire you bro

Pay it forward.

That's a dope story (seriously). Glad everything worked out and props for reaching out (and extra props to MethodMan for responding), the idea would never even have crossed my mind.

I am going to name my first born son, Methodson, in honer of Methodman from NikeTalk.

wow that's really inspiring, i wanna go to college too but my gpa is a 1.7, and i only have my senior year to bring it up../img/vbsmilies/smilies/frown.gif

You sound just like me when I was your age.

5 years later and I'm sitting here as a college graduate, at a cushy desk job working for the government.

Keep your head up, and most importantly keep yourself motivated. You can achieve anything that you strive for.

Meth used to help me with some of my research papers when i was a college frosh back in 03-04.  I'd e-mail them to him and he'd rely with ideas and citations and sources of his own then read over what I wrote up.  He helped me get at least 1 or 2 A's that first semester.

Whenever people rag on Meth or call him self-absorbed/a megalomaniac i just LOL.  Dude is more than OK in my book and genuinely down and interested in the well being of this community and its members.

I should have made a post like this years ago.

Genuinely good story. Hat's off to Method Man. Goes to show how truly important grammar is in the real world. On a lighter note, out of context this sequence of words is pretty funny. Ironic because I'm on NT while taking a break from a Breaking Bad netflix-a-thon

I don't believe I would have ever got into the school or be where I am now without Meth..
