Ok so what qualifies as a successful squat in a powerlifting meet
The last person in the diagram I posted is what is required in a meet. The hip crease must be below the top of the knee, thats what I mean when I say to break parallel.

Which is why I said theres powerlifting parallel and general fitness parallel.

Parallel is typically when the femur is parallel with the ground, but in a powerlifting meet that wouldnt count because the hip crease is always going to be higher than the femur. Thats why I said the video of the squat a little ways back was parallel. It is, assuming its not being judged in a powerlifting meet.

Right, all I am saying is you should use the term powerlifting squat vs fitness squat because they both have two different depths one is trying to hit.
 
Really havin a hard time gettin my squat form down. Gettin frustrated, but I know my flexibility needs work. What helps that, jus stretching??

Also havin trouble with my knees going over my toes. Was doing them in the mirror at home, no weight, and saw that.

Down to 245 from 270.

I'm noticeably weaker but also much less fat.

This last little lower belly fat still remains, I know you can't spot treat but when the **** will this go away? :smh:
 
Lower belly fat is the last thing to go for men, women have visible abs at like 15% BF.

everything looks pretty equal to me, the woman @ 15 is equal to  the guy @  15, theres definition on both but theyre not really ripped, more like beach ready

i only see a change in gut size @ 30%

I've been in the gym for the past 2months and Ive been putting on weight (5'8 went from 138lbs to 153lbs). Along with working out what kind of vitamins/supplements are you guys using or would recommend for a 23yr old male?

whey, and perhaps bcaas (even tho ive heard whey should have adequate bcaas in it)
