Fam, what market you go to? Vallerta or something because those foods are dope, and you spend so little

Someone start a team fitness x extreme couponing thread.

all i will say is food is my vice........

food>nikes for me
This is a no brainer for me too. A lot of these new age sneakerheads appear to be anti social...I guess sitting behind Twitter all day long waiting for a restock will do that to you. I go to the local mall a lot, which as a House of Hoops so I see these kids trying to get those raffle tickets. A lot of these kids are obese and lack self confident, just look at the ground when they walk, etc.

I would rather use that shoe money for good foods and rock some Chucks.

agreed

a lot of sneakerheads are anorexic or obese

My go-to "Gotta have it in stock" items..

Milk
Peanut Butter
Bananas
Protein Mix
... and that will be what I'll make into a smoothie before work or after I workout.

Eggs
Tuna
Whole wheat bread or a wrap
Turkey
Cheese
... my usual lunch, a sandwich of some kind

Baby carrots
apples
almonds
a couple of "cheat" snacks like Cheese Its or "healthy" kettle corn
.. snacks

Brown rice
sweet potato
chicken or ground turkey breast
bagged steamed veggies

I've also been eating some Evol Foods frozen meals for when I don't have enough time to eat before work or when I'm too lazy after work  They're pretty solid even though frozen isn't the best, but they're minimally processed and natural, so I don't feel too bad once in awhile. Plus they usually have 18-25 grams of protein.

I won't go through all of that every week.. but when I'm out of food I'll usually spend 50-60.. when it's just a few items then a trip to the store would be 20-25 (meats, bread, milk, etc.) I definitely need to budget better with food, but I'm just happy I'm not eating crappy fast food every day or buying subs and pizza and crap when I go "food shopping" which is how I used to be. Oh and coffee.. I'll go through a bag every couple of weeks so throw that in too.

I took a girl out last week and she wanted to eat at Cheesecake Factory. I think this is the most bland and overrated chain restaurant there is. She ordered some nacho plate that had cheese dripping all over. I couldn't do it, man. Even it was a cheat day...the mental disappointment of eating crappy food would easily outweigh the joy of consuming.

I LIKE TO LOOK DEEP IN THE EYES OF SNEAKER HEADS

I JUST SEE THEIR SOUL MELT DURING MEET UPS

PLEASE BURLY SAMOAN LOOKING ASIAN MAN

PLEASE DON'T STEAL MY KIDNEYS

But this is gross stuff, man. I enjoyed cheat meals as much as the next man...but I'm going to make sure it's worth it. Speaking of which, I'm patiently waiting to go back to Mr. Pizza in Little Tokyo to get that pizza with crunched nacho, potato wedges, bacon pieces, all on a corn bread crust :pimp:

 We on the same wavelength, man. Yeah...price is grotesquely overpriced too. I would rather pony some more and go to a real steakhouse. Every time I've gone to a Cheesecake Factory, wait has been mad long too.

ALWAYS

ppl love that place

ive heard a waitress there can bring in some REALLY good coin.......location depending but yea

lol @ the raffle line at HOH. i said something about this the other week on a local board. look at them pimple face fat cankle piglets and just shake my head. even better is when there's a line up and someone cuts and then they all complain about it ONLINE LOL. so damn sad.

Its not the guilt that gets me on cheat meal...its the meal itself. I plan my cheat meals. I haven't had anything "bad" in about two weeks. I want wings...and i will have them as my cheat meal this weekend. What gets me is when friends are like hey come grab food and im like sure and they are like oh we got quesadillas and nachos and a pitcher for the table....im all....nope...i want wings....i aint wasting my cheat meal on this mediocrity.

what's our consensus on refried beans?  I ate about half a can last night with my chicken...and I discovered greek yogurt last night as a substitute for sour cream...mind was blown how comparable it is

I use regular beans myself. Soak em overnight, boil, and let em simmer. Refried beans are high in sodium, if I'm not mistaken.

Was gonna do legs tonight but my wife's hips are too sore from........ cardio... oops

Emergency switch to shoulders/traps and moving legs to saturday

I don't know what happened, but the dude ended up refunding me the $80 I paid for protein.

I pretty much received 20 lbs of protein for free.

Always reading about protein come ups on here

My idea of a good protein deal is buy 1 get 1 on BB :smh:

y'all just must be really lucky
