STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

What are you guys using for pre-workouts? Working grave shift now and my body is all messed up...need something to get me going til my body adjust to my new schedule.

Heck can't even figure out if I should workout at 7am when I get off or around 3-4pm when I wake up...:smh:
Preworkout? CT Fletcher Youtube vids.

Haha I was thinking more along the lines of supplements but thanks for the suggestion.

Lol yeah, just playin.

I don't really mess with many pre-workouts, but I respect Jim Stoppani so give Pre-Jym a shot.  Pricey, but his name alone is enough for me.  90% of what's out there is junk.  Be better off with some caffeine and BCAAs.

Anyone got the Eastbay Evapor tights? Wondering how they compare in quality/feel to the Nike Pro joints

I used muscle pharms pre workout Assault. Worked pretty good but only side effect was it would make my face itch for like 10 mins right after I took it. Only used it when I first got back in the gym after a 4 month layoff to get me goin. Once I ran out I stopped usin it...

I just use caffeine pills... Well half of one. 100 MG of caffeine, and it costs about 4 cents for that serving. I just need to be alert to lift, I don't need anything else.

For pre workout, a nice fat line of dat white pony will do ya wonders.

One of my co workers was hyping C4 and creatine as pre work out. I tried C4 and it had my face itchy and was giving me heart burn. I had to stop using it.

I work out around 5-7 a.m. so I feel pretty tired. But I do cardio and don't like that feeling of my heart bout to explode.

Never used a preworkouts crew because I don't need it.

I never seen the point of it.

I just eat a meal high in carbs 1.5-2hrs prior to training and a banana 15 minutes before. Also stay drinking a lot of water throughout the day.

Finally unbanned. Thanks for reporting me BIGBOSS. Srs. That was a lame move. Thought u was better than that.

Moving on though....

Im guessing C4 has a stim in it? Ive never messed with them before. I eat around 100g of carbs pre workout and go to town.

I'll take a preworkout every now and then or a caffeine pill, but nothing works better for me than a good meal 2-3 hrs before, and a ton of water.

What are you a high school female using the word hate?

That term gets used too loosely.

Hataz Kant Stop Meh!

Carbs keep me from getting light headed. 3-4 plate squat with no carbs, and I start seeing things after a set.

I dedicate a meal only on my leg days. Other days of the week, I'll eat bread and/or a banana. Only reason is cause I'm hungry when I get off work.

Whats the benefit of having so many carbs before lifting? Energy?

Yeah buddy. I usually have white rice/potatoes because they're absorbed the quickest and give me good energy. Plus it fills me up too without being hard on my stomach like a large amount of protein can be.
