STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

Syntha 6 and ON Gold standard are different products.

Syntha 6 is more of a meal replacement with all the fat and carbs it has

Thanks for the input, fellas. The Syntha-6 taste reviews got me wanting to just get both && mix them together  but I think ima go ahead && cop the ON for now.

You won't sweat it out. If you're SICK wait until you recover. If you're not then go. I had the flu for a week and stayed home. It would've been sum for me to hit the gym. Lost 5-10 pounds and looked smaller but got it back in 2 weeks >=]

I went anyways.

I have "over the neck" symptoms. Stuffy nose, congestion, little hot but I didnt feel aches and pains nor was I tired so I said screw it.

Did chest and shoulders and maintained the same intensity as if I werent sick. I did feel tired earlier than normal but still a good workout.

Oh, so now cold? F it then. YOLO.

Read somewhere cardio is good to do right in the morning when you wake up before eating anything.

Sounds odd but is that actually beneficial?

I think I heard that too from a YouTube video. I can't get up early enough to run I usually do it when I get home from work.

I read somewhere not too long ago that it depends. Are you trying to lose weight? Then its a good idea.

If youre already lean and just trying to lose a couple more lbs, you may lose muscle instead.

All in all, as long as calories used is more than calories taken in at the end of the day, you will lose weight.

For me, it would be to lose weight.

Is it douchey for a skinny guy to do forearm curls?
It may have been. I don't recall where it was form.

I think it's douchey to do forearm curls if you're taking up a bench to do it in a packed gym

I think it's lame to use clips on a Smith Machine. Still haven't found the culprit who does this about once a week. Oh yeah and they don't rack their weights

400

For seven months I worked out 5 days straight without fail. The last couple months I've been doing splits of 3, a break, followed by 2 days, never going more than 1 day without working out.

Today might be my second day in a row not working out. I'm not busy. I just, don't feel like it. It's a dangerous feeling.

If you don't go you'll keep repeating the process of not going.

Go and push yourself.

If you need the rest, take a week off and go back hard. 7 months straight go ahead.

I ended up working out.

I'm not really tired per se, at least not physically.

More mentally. For the first three quarter of the yr gains were coming fast. Lately, gains don't come as fast, and in some movements I actually took a step back.

Maybe I'm just a little annoyed with myself, that's all.

I ended up working out anyway cuz I got bored at home lol.

Of everything i hate at the gym.  I can look past clips on the smith.  It serves 0 purpose but i can still work out without clips for the most part, or try to jack them from some where else.

But curls in the damb squat rack.  Even if im not doing legs or want the rack, enrages me.  You can't do anything to circumvent that.  Some dude was doing it yesterday with 25lbs on each side.  So you are curling 95lbs....guess what...the pre-set bars...go up to 120lbs at our gym.  When you exceed that....then guess what....use the small EZ bar that allows you to add weights.  There should never be a time when you are curling in the squat rack.  Every squat rack should have a sign that says this.

end rant/

Off day today.  Prob should have taken yesterday off my body is super soar.  Chest again friday, legs saturday off sunday.

Agreed.

Nothing pisses me off more.

I also hate when people don't re-rack.

When people are using the squat rack and returning every 10min.

Have to steal squat racks when people are BSing.

I have started to become more proactive.  Our gym has two racks and almost no floor space.  So people wait for racks.  I ask people if they want to work in.  Or if i am dead lifting in front of the rack (which some times i do since there are literally 2 places to actually set a bar on the floor)  I will tell people if they want to grab a bar and use the rack no bromo i don't mind.  There is still 8 feet between me and the rack so as long as you don't care about squatting right in front of me i don't mind dead lifting.  I got to get my work out in and i hate waiting so i will put up with it.

On days where i plan on being that guy.  I use the weekend afternoon or late night week days.  When i know my squat routine takes a good 30 mins and will be monopolizing a rack for 45 mins or so.  If its a week day post work, i am trying to get in and get out.
