My squatting game is awful. I get pain in my right knee from doing 135lbs only. I do 4 sets of 8-12 warming up on leg extensions before hitting the squat. This sharp pain makes me stop cuz Im not trying to get any injuries

Any idea whats going on?

Any prior knee injuries? Do you do any type of mobility work? Where in the squat is the pain the worst? Can you post a video of tour squat?

in game pic, muscles moving around. if you took a pic of me playing ball id look similar.

look at him in person, he has no muscle definition

Just making a statement about genetics.

He has no definition "in person" cause no one will have that type definition while relaxed.

The majority of NBA players do not look like they lift, they have long *** arms and its hard to put size on their frames. Plus its not their job to look like they lift.

Besides Lebron and D Howards big *** shoulders, the only players that have some "muscle definition" are guards, and those are still very few.

Yea NBA guys are finesse guys.. they need to be long and agile and have touch on shots... they will lift to keep strength but its rare to find very many guys who are ripped.

blake griffin lifts.

corey maggette had a dope physique. bubbly muscles and ****.

pippen and david robinson were cut like glass and strong looking.

larry johnson lifted weights

bron is skinny in real life. he's smaller than he looks on tv.

Nit picking a bit...FG% has gone up just about every year in the league and if I remember correctly, he had one of the best mid-range games in the NBA as of 2 years ago.
Ehh still the more size he put on the more he turned into a driver, but thats neither here nor there.

Zyzz still aint makin sense.

All the "big" jacked guys in the NBA will be the big man... their games don't require as much finesse.. Power and strength on the block can be a huge advantage.. so yea makes sense for some PFs and Cs to lift but other than that no guard that wants to have a decent jumpshot is going to spend all his time lifting.

i'm not saying that all rotator cuff issues stem from rolled shoulders, it was something suggested to me by a powerlifter (gf's dad) from observing my posture and listening to my complaints of shoulder issues. here's a thing on identifying and fixing rolled shoulders: LINK maybe some of the physio experts can chime in. i've increased the volume of face pulls and other rear delt exercises. few times a day i try and pull my shoulders back and hold it. so far i've gone from thumbs pointing inward to slightly angled. i still have plenty of work to do. i've also heard that using a stand up desk can help with posture but i'm pretty lazy so...
overall, my shoulders don't hurt as much when i barbell bench.
