I miss chobani. taste wouldn't really matter to me, threw vanilla whey in some plain and I just crammed it down my throat cuz I knew I needed the nutrients

so livid tonight. came off my 12hr shift hoping to hit the gym and get this de-load week started off nicely. found out the school gym closes extra early @ 1830 now for the first week after finals. gdlfjakabjasfv. guess I'm gonna have to shift some days over or combine a day.

days where you PR and set new maxes are super up there. wanted to share my many victories this past Saturday while training. Saturday's usually tend to be where I test and try setting a new 1RM (or at least get some heavy singles in). for the last couple weeks I've been stuck with my snatch not working out. once I was mentally out of it, testing my clean&jerk seemed a lot more heavier than what it seemed, and I basically snowball into a pile of crap. I always blamed the work/workout week for the failures. this weekend I finally managed to PR (albeit by 5#) on my snatch. the mental victory here is immeasurable. absolutely wanted to run around the gym screaming. (I try my best to record PR attempts simply to use them in Coach's Eye and QT to dissect all the things I'm doing wrong)

its definitely not really that heavy (205#), but I'm happy I finally broke that barrier. Followed that up w/ a 10# pr on my clean (missed the jerk), and ended the day w/ some heavy timed front squats and 5 sets of 3 on some heavy-ish low bar back squats. couldn't be happier. everything felt good and "light" (felt like I could do more)

gonna try to keep the momentum going for this week and not let today get me off track.

I never really ate much on christmas in the first place. And the IF keeps me in check since my eating window stops at 6pm.
 
Anybody familiar with the Reebok gym on columbus ave NYC. I'm thinking of joining, facilities seem clean and they have a lot of machines and whatnot. The price is kind of expensive but if the gym is that good I wouldn't mind paying. Anyone ever been?v
 
BTW ya'll. Today someone asked me "How did you get so big all of a sudden?" But you KNOW what he was tryna imply. I was honest and said, "I used to be really big but took a big break so it was easy to get back. Been in over 2 months now consecutively and eating right." He gave me the "mhmm. ok nod." :smh:

But what DOES irk me is the people I KNOWWWWWWW are on some type of extra **** but when you ask them what they take they say, "oh just whey." naw homie. nawwwwwwwwww. Especially when they are massive with every single vain popping out but when you see what they lift and HOW they lift it it's an embarrassment

It sets off such an unfair balance of where everyone really is at and if they are doing ok or not.

We got those guys at our gym. 2 dudes have chicken legs but some of the most unnaturally large upper bodys its gross. The personal trainers at my gym say they are on some sort or steriod which i wouldn't doubt but they are both the type of dudes doing lat pull down with the whole weight stack barley getting it to their forehead and grunting the whole time. Just throwing around tons of weight to look cool i guess.

But i am not big by any means and people ask me how i stay in shape. Honestly i eat what i want whenever (changing that next year new years resolution). But i work hard in the gym almost every day. And on my 1-2 off days i am running 5 miles or so outside. And people act like its easy and im blessed to be in good shape. Like i understand i have good genetics but it ain't easy to work 10 hour days get home and head to the gym.

For all of you dudes iffy abou Greek yogurt:

It has on average the same number of calories as regular yogurt with double the protein
 
partly. also partly hamstrings. also partly core. also party lats. also partly grips strength. also partly gluteus maximus.
deadlifts work a multitude of bodyparts brother
Thats why I like these workout routines. They work a multitude of muscles. I glad i switched up my workout. Shoulders are also killing me in the best way possible
 
The pain Is only on one side of my lower back, do y'all think it is a strain or herniated disk? I lost my insurance card and new ones come in beginning of the year, I also see ish on line about it could be kidney problems but only symptom I display is the sharp pain.

Do y'all think I should avoid elliptical and just do stationary bike or just not do any cardio till my back feels right?

I had a pain like that and thought I might've had a hernia as well. Turns out it was just muscle.

i think he might have juiced though. not hating on dude he's always been big...it just seemed kinda suspect. he started looking like how he looked at the end of Doom..lol
