Just had a Quest bar for the second time- word to all you bros who swear by them. Cinnamon Roll was far better than the first I tried, one of the chocolate ones. I'd actually consider buying a box of these if they werent so damn expensive. Guess ill have to pay to be a GNC member so I can use the coupon trick to get them on the low.

As far as I know, that coupon trick isnt active for September.

Hit 425x5x3 then hit it for 6 on my last set of squats. Did it with Romaelos, a belt, wrist wraps and knee sleeves, so I guess it was around 225?

Since I sent this in a PM to a lurker, I'll share my general training idea:

Week 1- figure out 5rm for squat, 3rm for bench, 1rm for deadlift

Week 2- figure out 3rm for squat, 1rm for bench, 5 rm for deadlift

Week 3- figure out 1 rm for squat, 5rm for bench, 3 rm for deadlift

Then following that same pattern I'd try and beat each in weeks 4,5,6 and then in weeks 7-9 I'd try and add a rep to all of them. For example, checking my logs

Week 1- squat 525 x5, bench 285 x3, dead 585 x1

Week 2- squat 555 x3, bench 325 x1, dead 495 x5

Week 3- squat 570 x1, bench 265 x5, dead 530 x3

Week 4- squat 555 x5, bench 295 x3, dead 605 x1

Week 5- squat 565 x3, bench 345 x1, dead 505 x5

Week 6- squat 585 x1, bench 270 x5, dead 535 x3

Week 7- squat 555 x5 (failed 6), bench 295 x4, dead 605 x2

Week 8- squat 565 x4, bench 340 x2, dead 505 x6

Week 9- squat 585 x2, bench 270 x7, dead 535 x4

On 1 RM days I'd usually add in a few higher rep sets, and on bonus days I'd hit up whatever was feeling shaky (usually bench) and I'd do OHP.

Accessory work was usually just 3-5 sets of 5-15 reps depending on what I wanted to do. Kept it simple. Maybe 3-5 exercises. Sometimes I wouldn't do any accessory work.
 
Levis has a new fit called 541 Athletic fit. Supposedly has more room in the quad/glute area with a straight leg.

I'm going to try to find them this weekend to try on. I want to see how they are compared to the STF 501s.

my dream come true. I threw out 5 pair of jeans cause the crouch ripped from my inner thigh rubbing lol. Joints be mad tight around the thigh

Never had any jeans rip, but I hate when you can see my quad outline clearly through my pants.

They have them on the Levis site with free returns for now. I just don't want to deal with returns. Plus, I want to see what size I would wear.
 
It looks like Macy's and JCPenny's have them. Might try to check them out sometime, it aint quite cool enough for jeans down here yet lol
 
They look like they should be, loose in the hips and thigh and hopefully a slight taper would be optimal.

I've accepted I'm a chino and slacks guy.

Commuter jeans work ok because of the stretchy material
