LOL too late bro, just had some pumpkin cheesecake cookies and gonna have the brownies tomorrow. This is the last holiday of the year so these 2 days wont be anything biggie.

anyone wondering about the "strength" of craze flavors, the driven sports reps have stated that the berry lemonade has more flavoring in it so a rounded scoop is equivalent to a level scoop of grape in terms of the actives. the debate has been about the original tubs of grape (which are about impossible to find) versus the newer tubs of grape. personally, i think it's the same. on a side note, i got some samples of the seasonal flavors. haven't tried any of the flavors except apple pie which is excellent. craze has been great to use on legs days for me.

I used 2 scoops some times 2 1/2 of berry lemonade and felt nothing.
 
and you "feel it" when you take the grape?

i have a half tub of berry lemonade in my freezer. haven't used it for a long time but i recall it worked the same. been using the apple pie cause that one actually tastes real good.

am I the only that does leg workouts without shoes or with vibrams? I was taught in football and track that it helps build better balance and all the small tendons, muscles and such become stronger due to lack of support from a sneaker.

I got sweet tooth but I resist so easily. Talking cakes cookies ice cream and stuff.
Idk why folks just can't wait until they're lean so they can eat sweets on a training day and don't have to worry about anything.
Food isn't going anywhere, I know it tastes great but until you've reached your goals it's just a means to an end.

if you felt nothing from 2.5 scoops of berry, don't buy grape. it's the same thing man. you just didn't respond to it. out of 10 people that tried some from me, only 1 person said he didn't feel much. he also didn't sleep that night when he took it though lol. it just doesn't work on some people.

yea, another reason why I`m thinking about staying away from stims is if I have to start working out late when I start grad school dont want that messing up my sleep.
 
i'm pretty sensitive so i don't take too much caffeine in after 2pm. i use some non-stim preworkouts (hemavol and ultima top my list) but since i'm starting a family, gotta keep the budget in check. i can have some okinawan sweet potato 1.5 hours pre and then a cup of coffee 15 mins pre and have a killer workout. after that, demolish some steak and eggs and it's all good.
 
Any1 here get better results from HIIT cardio rather than moderate cardio for a long period of time?
I personally like HIIT for 30 - 40 min. tops. I'm completely dead after a session. But I see all the pros doing moderate cardio for 1hr + sessions. I've tried the moderate theory and seem to get a milder workout from it .
There are a bunch of articles covering HIIT and why it's superior. But there are bias articles on EVERYTHING explaining why said theory is better than another.
One prime example are the physiques of Sprinters compared to the physiques of Marathon Runners.

An example of HIIT is going FULL SPEED (ALL OUT!) for 30-45 seconds, then go moderate for 1.5 minutes, then ALL OUT , then moderate , and continue to do so for 30-40 min. It's said to actually promote muscle growth as well as burn fat.
I honestly never seen any of the pros do this kind of training. Can it be the amount of sports enhancing drugs they use that it simply does not matter?
What do you mean by pros though?

HIIT is interval training yes, but doesnt necessarily meaning going all out for 30 seconds, jog for 20 seconds etc (even though that would be the most effeective way). HIIT can be as simple as hitting 9-10 on the treadmill and staying at 6 as your jog speed with minute intervals.

Marathon runners are that skinny cause they are burning a lot of fat and muscle with that amount of cardio.

To my understanding, HIIT works well with fat shredding because you continue to burn calories even after you work out.

You're speaking like none of us have heard of it. If you want to shred fat, do HIIT.
 
Oh I see, I mean I hope this doesnt constitute as bro science but HIIT is almost always "better" than regular cardio, and if you plateau you might have to change a lot more than just your cardio routine.
 
I'm fully convinced I can eat anything and not gain any weight, so i figured i'd start working out.  Any tips? I weigh 115 on a good day (srs) and I'm trying to add more muscle.  I got cardio down, i run a lot and I walk pretty much anywhere i don't need transportation.

Different types of cardio would be cool too. Swim a few laps if your gym has a pool. Try the spin bikes, those are no joke. Tried it for the first time a few days ago and coudnt even HIIT 10 min without being burnt out.

where do yall do HIIT outside?

and that bike thing is something different? or the same as the ones u find near the eliptical?

Spin bikes are different. You can stand up and pedal, which youre gonna need to when the instructor bumps up the intensity, you basically follow him/her. Also the lever/switch to change the resistance is right in front of you, so you can change resistance very quickly.

HIIT on a track, anything else will be rough on the knees after a lot of added up miles.

anyone have problems with sweating during workouts? (i cant/dont sweat giving the amount of time i workout....2 hours)

is this a bad/good thing?
 
hmmm.. i might have to find a empty track than once march comes around. do my HIIT and get cut and go on vacation shredded and aesthetic.



im gonna do 100 pullups tmrw in total. getting ready to be able to do a damn muscle up :smokin
