All that running wont do **** if your diet is meh, remember.
I eat clean everyday but Sunday..I started SL 5x5 last december and made some nice gains while losing A TON of body fat.  I haven't noticed a difference in a few months, so I feel I should start incorporating a run.

Might as well post my daily consumption

With a few alterations, this is pretty much what I eat Monday-Saturday

AM protein shake followed by mid-morning quest bar, lunch would be a vegetable/ground turkey/sweet potato/salsa type medley.  Dinner is some sort of chicken breast with a veggie followed by another protein shake.

If a mile isnt working, up the milage.

I lost a bunch of weight running at least 3-4 times a week

If you want faster progress, try HIIT

i was talking bout this with my friend the other day

i aint eem mad at it

Its seems to be more trendy among females too, If theyre doing it purely for vanity so be it

at least people are getting healthy

Seeing a 134 pound guy on instagram clean and jerking 375 pounds just makes me smh lol, I'm not even sure if he's even the best in his weight class

Most 200 pound guys at my gym can't even deadlift that

I want to pull 600 asap.
I remember the first time I pulled over 600. It was the first time I had made my shins bleed, tore up my shin through my sock. I tried for 633 the next pull but couldn't break the floor. I locked out 633 my next comp but got two reds (one side judge admitted a mistake and the head judge was a moron).

Still waiting to pull 633 for real.

Same thing happened to this 198er at my last meet. Pulled a hell of a grinder 602 or so then got pinned with 607 or something. One 220 pulled 660 which was quite impressive, he was over 40 too.

It's amazing how much of a difference 2.5 or 5 pounds make when you're near your max =/
This.

Been trying to get to 400 on back squat without a belt. Hoping to get there by the end of the year. Currently got a 390 max.

Lol so I deadlifted 250 for the first time today. Wasn't easy, but I did it.

255 felt like it was a part of the floor.

Sigh

I know this struggle all too well!!!

Every time I look at the 2.5 weights I look at them as though they are completely useless...

Then when its game time and i throw them on....... Whole different story  :smh: :wow:

Aak when i try to deadlift 50 after doing 45 :frown:

Klokov hit a 440 pound snatch in the training hall up at Kazakhstan. Not sure why the man isn't competing this Saturday
