Anyone got a membership at blink fitness? Is it decent or should I just pay for crunch?
Been going since july, great gym for the price, has everything you need pretty much, pay $20 a month and I can bring as many guests as I want
 
At the doctors now, my back was hurting on the drive over here.

If its a herniated disc or some ****...great start to 25. So pissed bros.

He said its probably just a sprain. He actually said I could go to the gym if I wanted as long as it doesnt bother my back, but we both agreed on a couple days rest.

Imma give it til Sunday or Monday.

I had a herniated disc in my L4-L5 region from DLing last year. As soon as the disc popped, I couldn't feel my left leg for a good 10 minutes (felt like my  leg was paralyzed) and had to dip home.

 Sitting down and standing up hurt like hell in my left hamstring/butt area and a bit in my lower back (the pain felt like a charlie horse but 100x worse) ...worst experience ever and I stopped doing DLs from then on cause I'm too scared of re-injuring it. #teamnodeadlifts

Welp that solidifies it. Its just a sprain, cause I feel a lot better today. Ask amel, im a wimp b, anything gets to me. :lol:

Still gonna take it easy til Sunday.

On another note, GNC had a promo a couple weeks back, Megamen Sport 90 caplet (2 for $20) which IMO is a great deal considering one 90 caplet pack is $18 with a gold card. Screenshottes it when I first saw it a few weeks back and showed the guy, he said screw it this is my last day working here, ill honor it for you, oh and heres a few Quest bars on the house. :lol:

Going on week 4 of not working out. Almost 100% sure I pinched a nerve or pulled a muscle in my neck doing OH pressing movements. I have this one tender spot on my shoulder blade and I'm pretty stiff on my whole left side. Been like this for 2+ weeks. When I apply pressure to the shoulder blade trigger point, the stiffness disappears. Weirdest thing. 

Sucks to be out this long though. I think I'm going to start doing landmine presses and work on my thoracic extension before I start doing OH movements again.
 
Anyone take Blue Ice Royal Butter Oil / Fermented Cod Liver Oil Blend? What type of results did you see from it? Anyone just take fish oil pills period? 

I don't really take any pills period but I keep being told that I should really take fish oils pills.

I don't think there is anything more annoying that when someone takes weight off your bench or rack mid-set.
 
I usually do legs Tuesday and Thursdays , weekends i usually hit some cardio depending on how im feeling but today i went and did a little bit of everything did some Legs im back up to squatting 275 x 6 with ease , i was wondering since this girl i usually workout told me that i shouldnt mix legs and arms within the same day and that i should just focus on one muscle group .
 
Hit a BW PR on the scale this morning of 240. 

Holidays haven't even hit yet.

Seems to be more of a weightlifting thread, but I'll share anyway....

Body was a bit beat up from boxing all week.

Went for a nice swim for an hour today.

Followed by a massage+acupuncture.

Healthy dinner with a client in from out of town. No drinks.

Back home now for the UFC fights. No drinks. Just :smokin + healthy snacks.

Great active recovery day :smokin
 
Sauna is actually tomorrow.

Bodyweight/dumbbell exercises at home in the AM.

Then steam/dry saunas/cold pool.

One of the dry rooms has a well with ice cold water in the middle where you take buckets and dump them over your head in the sauna. **** is amazing.

Repeat over and over for an hour or two.

Will be another fantastic active recovery day.

Wife's out of town....glorious weekend :lol:
