Holy **** I had a really good day today.

I was pausing 90 percent of my 1 rep squat max for ***** and giggles. And I did it for a double :lol:

I probably should've gone for a new max single, looking back at it in hindsight. I asked my coach, and he said 'You can go for new single if you want to, but you don't have to'

So I didn't.

Downloaded MFP and realized I'm not eating enough. Definitely gonna try that olive oil x OJ shooter just to get the extra fats and calories

I used to do it a few years back and you cant even taste the olive oil

Yeah the smart *** remarks aren't even entertaining anymore, just flat out annoying.

Gonna head to the gym today to get some sauna time in. Do some stretching and light exercising. Hopefully gonna use Saturday's for recovery work in the gym
 
The last couple weeks I been really using my non weightlifting days to focus on flexibility. Stretch out my groin. Stretch out the hammies. The back. I think it's making a difference in the gym.

Probably not a coincidence that my lifts felt a little better this week.

Before I was rushing through my stretches too much and not giving it enough attention.

Nah man you're just being a grumpy ***. A deal pops up on a supplement that a majority of the people in this thread take and were not supposed to discuss it?

I agree that it may become too much at times but pick your battles. You don't gotta respond to everything. Take that elitist attitude elsewhere
 
Just found out I've been deficient in iron for about a year my old doc just never called when I took blood tests last year. Going to see if these iron pills make a difference.

When I found this out I thought to myself "no wonder I can't function unless I get 8-10 hours of sleep, I used to be good with 5"
 
Just caught my first shin splint. Warmed up my legs for 10 minutes, played a 2 on 2 then went to start my leg routine. Went through all my calf raises and THEN after a complete set of squats my right shin started tightening up and I got real sensitive to pressure. I wore my Flyknit Frees to squat in for the first time in forever and I just happened to tweak my ankle in that same 2v2. I really should have been smarter than that, but know I know.

They ain't no joke man.

Been trying Romwod (free 7 day trial). Great so far. Mobility is something I would sacrifice constantly, trying to get better at it.
