STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

I hate that, even if they are diesel and doing it it's like really man? You have to yell every set?
that ish is lame as hell

most of the time is to get the attention from women

there was a dude in LA fitness doing that a while back

"WOOOHH LET'S GET THIS MONEY"
"AAGGHHH THIS IS BABY WEIGHT"
"GRRRRR LIGHT WORK"
*slams weights on the ground*

I feel like if i ever had my own gym in my house id prob yell a little. Or at least def make faces and breath louder.

But thats the thing about gyms...you should be considerate of others around you.

I always grunt and make noises whenever I do weighted russian twists.

I try and take a 45 plate and go for a minute straight word to Luke Rockhold

Joint have me moaning and ish

Im 31,i guess i started around junior year in college (20-21 yrs old). Ive always been more interested in hoopin.. my time in the gym is prob 75% ball, 25% weights

My little brother's high school entrepreneurial project is now taking the next step. It's fitness-related so I thought I'd post it and get some feedback for him from the gym crowd here.

Yeah if it's just me and a friend with no one else. Go ahead bro it out and yell. But once someone else is in there chill.

How long has everyone been working out for? Years? Months?
Will hit 5 years this coming July. But I feel like I've been spinning my wheels because of injuries such as, a herniated disc in my L4-L5 region, fractured/sprained ankles, a hyperextended elbow, etc. And it sucks because it always happens when I'm at my peak

Started working out to lose weight, I was 22 and overweight, high blood pressure, etc. I'm 26 now.

Took me like 2 years to figure **** out, what workouts worked for me, how to stay motivated, etc. I wasn't consistent but I lost weight in like 7 months 215 -> 165lbs. Destroyed my metabolism and burned myself out.

Didn't really start getting serious and invested till about a year and a half ago when I switched my focus on powerlifting.

Been lifting for almost 6 years now.
Is funny to look back at this long journey and see how much you changed and learned.

Love those snapclips. Would definitely buy a pair.

as far as weightlifting? I started freshman year of high school when I played american football. Since then I've been on and off with the weights, being lean and strong looks better on my body than being bulky/muscular.

as far as being physically active? since I was 5 years old and I started playing baseball.

Like someone up there said, my routine now consists of 75% football(soccer) and 25% weights
