Man that **** cake if you have stubby arms and only gotta travel literally a few inches.

The bet is you weigh anywhere from 120-130 and bench anywhere from 240--250. That gives you some leeway.

I'd like a scale and spoon pic, also you have to touch your chest and your entire *** can not leave the bench. If you do this I gift $50 to you that day.

If there was an open bench I can understand but roid guy has the right to be an asshoke and say WHAT?! when someone asks a question?
repped. Finally someone understand no reason to be a dbag in the gym.

I'm honestly not surprised he did that to you.

You asked a simple question, there was no need for him to be a d***, it kills me that there are so many dudes that puff their chest at any chance they get.

Damn man good progress. I got a video for y'all next week. Ima record 225, 235, maybe 245 if I'm feeling it. I been stuck at 123 lbs forever. I finally getting to 124 but maybe it's water weight cause I loose it every so often. I ain't bsing

Serious question. When benching do you touch your chest or you leave like an inch space? Or go elbows parallel?

Personally, I touch my chest. Idk what the general consensus is in here though so I'll let someone else make that call

I have the bar touch my chest every rep. And I mean touch. I don't do that whole bounce thing

Why would you interrupt a dude lifting going hard anyways? Just wait until he's done

You interrupt the dudes wasting space on the squat rack curling.

This reminded me when i was actually squatting at the squat rack and i was a good 3 sets in.
Now at my gym we have only 2 racks and theyre next to each other. So as im resting, one of the trainer that works there comes up to me and says "bro lets switch racks" (since the other one wasnt being used) and i look at him hella confused and he realizes that and says " i just like this rack better" Now mind you theyre both the same frikin racks?!
So i tell him politely, "no cuse im working on this one" Dude just got heated and i guess he couldnt say anything cause he works there? idk but it was just stupid and now mean mugs me everytime he sees me... :rolleyes

there are standards for weightlifting movements or else the amount of weight moved really doesn't mean much. bench press should touch the chest to count as a rep.

I have my favorite racks too. I swear some parts of the gym are not on level ground but no one believes me
Yes!!!!! I swear the one bench press at my gym is like that. All the same brand. When you sit on the end of the bench it rocks and when you set it to bench it goes back up

Three people say touch chest. Well I like to leave maybe an inch ... I feel like it stops me from bouncing and it's harder to control the stop rather letting it hit the chest
