STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

Everyone starts somewhere.

And I'll tell you what

Even though this is one thread, if someone in here comes in genuinely and asks for motivation, I would give them some words.

But let me sip my morning tea before I go on

But part of the motivation is having the others around you. Plenty of days I'll go in and be like damn I don't want to be here. Then my partner comes and pushes me. I imagine crossfit is like that. People who have the motivation....motivating others

Nah I agree that everyone starts somewhere. I just believe it has to start with you first.

Forget about losing weight, or going to the gym. I feel that way about everything in life.

It clearly starters with him reaching out to an online community.

Save your high horse

I be like that too. There are days I feel sluggish and I'm like I don't think I'm going to finish the work out. But the thing is, we are still at the gym. I think the motivation to even get dressed and into the gym is more motivation than a lot of ppl have. The motivation to even sign up for the gym is more than a lot of ppl have.

And then when you see other ppl killing it then you get re-energized.

Yup...

What's the saying? "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink."

Motivation has to start from within. Wanting to make changes. Whether big or small, it starts with the individual.

You doing these 50's and 75's unbroken ?

Hellll no

I do strict, full range of motion. Hopefully by the end I can do near 50.

did the first 10 strict, then after that i was breaking them up to 5 then 3 reps per set, **** was burning :x  got 50 in last night

gotta finish up my garage set up (new drywall, mirrors, flooring, etc)

Y'all was right. Bench presses don't count unless u touch chest. Went back to the drawing board. Like it much better. Better contraction. And 225 never been easier

Good work bro keep it up. Last time i tried for my 1RM 205 I failed. Yet the week before I did 1 and 2 with some assistance from the spotter. Guess it doesn't count but felt good.
Seeing growth in my chest

Push-ups don't count if your chest isn't flat on the ground but dudes say they can knock out 75-100 unbroken. Some dude just asked if the 50-75 pull-ups were unbroken... He ain't talking about crossfit. I've never seen anyone do that. Don't listen to the hate your bench was fine.

A lot of nonsense in here. Somebody asked for motivation and gets flamed. Crossfit guys think their numbers translate to doing exercises correctly. If people are talking numbers just assume your crossfit half reps don't count.

I feel weird when people talk about how much bigger I am that aren't my close friends. I'm just like yup been eating a lot.

This.

I didn't wanna bring crossfit into the equation

Why is Crossfit even being brought up in the convo. He said 1K strict pull-ups. I was asking if he doing unbroken of the 50-75.

And it can be possible, I can do 27 unbroken. Just haven't worked on it that much. I have people in my gym that can do 35+ strict pull ups unbroken.

Y'all with the Crossfit hate and just bringing up random ****.

Like I said I'll see any of y'all in the gym as it relates to fit
