STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

I wanna get some protein bars but don't which ones to get I'm stuck between combat bars and quest bars. Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance

My mom just bought a vitamix blender today. I couldn't believe how much she spent for
It because she always gives me ish for spending money on dumb stuff you know how it goes . Made one of those Jamba Juice at home razmatazz smoothies. It was literally the same product if not better. Still don't know if it justifies the price though lol. Could anyone shoot some other greats dead for stuff to make or blend in one of these?

Personally only quest bar id eat would be the cookie dough and the pumpkin one. Combat bars are too dry for me...if that makes any sense lol

lol probably 4k a day.

Lets just start with baby steps.
Honestly homie you can easily come down to your next weight u wanted. U said 220ish?
Drop down like 200 calories every 2-3weeks. Easy transition (whats that like 1 serving of pb?)

Boss, that dude pulling 8 plates a side is the same dude #1 on the pr board in the 2k club. Made friends with him today. Now it's all making sense...

Today was the pull-up contest instead.

Believe it or not I would like to lose it by adding cardio, not eating less. I want to be in better conditioning so I'm going to throw different forms in and see how it goes.

That could work too. Before u start deducting?
Yes, I think I could lose quite a bit without deducting a lot just because of how sedentary my job is. I'll start with about a mile run outside in the morning 3 days a week, then throw in a couple 30 min sessions on 2-3 days at the gym.

My girl is talking about buying shakeology and workout videos and **** because the girls at her work do it and are talking it up. She doesn't want to hear anything I have to say, which is extremely irritating. What do I do...just let her do her thing?

About 4 ppl at my job are doing this mix of guys and girls. They've seen great results with the HIIT they do with it. They've lost fat and gained muscle.

I tell them though that healthy eating and constant physical activity is gonna be key once you stop this stuff.

I want to tell them too that those shakes are highly overrated but they cool ppl

What's shakeology?

My wife did them and still drinks "shako" as they call it. When she was consistent with the program, she enjoyed it and saw results

I think its a MLM based around fitness -30 minute home workout videos, meal prep and planning, and the shako meal replacement drink.

the latest bs fad that tells you to take in minimal calories while doing hitt which means people think its a magic quick fix to lose weight.

Lol not quite. It's a "meal replacement" that has actually been around for quite a few years now. Really not a bad profile, just extremely overpriced at $130 for 24/30 servings.

O.k that's what I heard about.. A shake that cost $4.99 per serving..

Not to sound like a douche. But when you give people who have never had a structured meal plan or who typically eat crap more times than good.
Then tell them. Hey eat this and do some cardio. Well yea ofcourse you see great results.

It's like a thousand times harder to lose weight by going the cardio route alone. you wanna lose 20 lbs? That's 70,000 kcal deficit. Cardio plus resistance training alone ain't gonna get you no 70k deficit unless you keep that regimen for like 5+ years. Gonna have cut your intake as well as add the cardio if you wanna lost lbs.

For me when cutting some weight the key was just that. A little less food...a little more cardio and in turn more caffeine . I woul have no energy pre work outs after work on less calories so i just was drinking a cup of black coffee in the afternoon for energy pre work out.

Id also go to bed earlier to stop myself from snacking

Thanks, I'm just slowly cleaning up my diet by cutting the crap out and eventually I'll start lowering my intake, I just don't feel like going back to the crazy macro tracking bs.

yeah no doubt macro tracking sucks but it's a necessity (for me at least)  3 weeks into my cut and this whole weighing my food thing is getting very old.  Seeing results though, so that's encouraging.
