STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

Kirkland products are practically the name brand. Thats why i love costco so much. Even kirklands vodka is oroduced by the same company that does belvedere
And another alcohol thats produced by a name brand as well
Kirklands almond butter is :smokin also

Any type of quest bar in general these days... :x

Seeing them makes me wanna vomit

Might need momma dukes to pick me up a box of those. I swear she be going to Costco when shes bored for the hell of it.

Son like they're really trash.

They were all I knew so I thought they were great but once you eat damn near ANY other bar you realize how trash they really are.

We have this discussion like every 15 pages....but i have eaten tons of other bars...and for the macros and taste quest has always won for me.

Pure protein bars tastes like rubber
Combat crunch is my second choice but triple the cholesterol than quest (still low)
Oh Yeah bars aren't as tasty to me (person opinion)

I will usually buy whatever i can get for cheap and i can walk into safeway or food lion and grab a quest bar for $2.29 usually so its easily accessible unlike the other two comparable brands

The rest are high in cals for me whether its power bars or gatorade bars or other main stream brand that has high protein content.

Anybody tried?

Tried the Barillla protein pasta yesterday. Taste good to me. It's an in between of regular pasta and whole wheat. Whole wheat tastes too grainy too me. But this stuff is good. I'll be buying more boxes

Srs question. If you're going for a new bench PR, does it count if you get a lift off? Some guys were talking about it the other day and it made me think if it'll count when I hit 225 lol

Wondering if any of you bros have experienced anything similarly to what I'm going through. I've had this sharp glute pain for 4 months now. It only happens in 2 situations, locking out a deadlift and bottom/locking out a squat. I've taken time off from pretty much anything leg related besides light leg press and hamstring curls for months. My ortho thought it could have been piriformis syndrome but I've stretched the glutes, hips, foam rolled them and still nada. He's starting to think it could be my SI joint. If anybody's dealt with anything similiarly I'd really appreciate the advice. It's been a frustrating last few months not being able to train my favorite movements.

 it counts man. I'll always take a lift off 200+, feels horrible unracking that much weight to me because your arms are angled back.

That's what I thought lol cuz you see big lifters usually get the lift off. So does that mean they don't count? S/O to Bigboss.

I was smh and in my feels after listening to their debate lol

When you're getting ready to bench and your spotter helps you "lift the weight off the rack".

Edit: I always tell my spotter just a little on the lift off because I hate that feeling when they do too much and all of a sudden you feel the real weight

When you push the weight up from the rack. Some people get a lift, or help getting it off the rack to get into position.

I dont like getting a lift when benching, I like to feel the weight right away.

Gotcha. I never use a spotter, kinda dangerous i kno, but theres hardly anyone there when i lift. The only lift i do that worries me is bench sometimes but the others (squat, military press) i do in the squat rack with those safety bars.
