What is your guys opinions on resting?
What's your workouts schedule and when do you rest?

I workout Monday through Friday..
Rest on the weekend..

I couldn't workout yesterday.. So when I workout today.. I did yesterday's regimen.. and I actually felt energize and completed today's regimen as well with no pre workout.. (I've been cycling off pre workout this month)

It actually shocked the hell outta me and I'm actually thinking of doing a different program down the line with more rest days..

I shoot for 2 gym days 1 off. Doesn't always happen but I used to go 6x a week. Once I started lifting 4x a week or so my strength shot way up and putting on weight got way easier. Plus never feel like crap anymore like sore joints and aching back.

Sometimes I have to do 4 straight days and 3 off depending on my work schedule but either is better than over training.

I usually do 5-6 days in a row. But I'll go play ball twice a week. That's a lot of time now That I think about it. I should be a monster

6x a week 1 day rest.

hit everything twice a week... but i get lazy sometimes and may hit legs only once a week lol..

chest, tri shoulder

legs

back bi abs

rest

I go 6days 1day off too.

Chest/back
Bicep/tricep
Shoulders/legs

I do 25-30min cardio and abs everyday. I just started doing those bout a month ago, neglected them for a while and im pissed i did. I do my cardio after i lift then finish with ab workout and call it a day.

I do bench press, db bench press (flat and incline) and db flys for chest. Rows, lat pull downs and deadlift. I started doing pull ups but i cant do them for **** lol. I try and do 5 between each exercise

It's funny. I've been hanging out with a lot of younger ppl lately and I can't keep up. They eat and drink with no conscience without worrying about gaining weight. I miss that [emoji]128557[/emoji][emoji]128557[/emoji][emoji]128557[/emoji][emoji]128557[/emoji]

I been ok with main dishes and eat right. But then these ******* order dessert in front of me. That's my weakness. I see ice cream or cake and I have to eat it. Lol

Successful heavy day was successful.

New PR in DL, 405 for 3 reps and 435 for a single.


Felt like I still had more in the tank but I'm partying tonight and didn't want to be a zombie. :lol:


Also hitting 225 on the barbell rows for reps comfortably now.


New PR on seated shoulder press with dumbbells, 80 for 5 reps.


Feeling strong and very hungry.
 
fat gripz came in... they were heavier than i thought... about 2 lb each. gonna try them out tomorrow.

Lol man if I ever quarter rep, I'll I've my Yeezys and high end stuff away.

I try to generate force through the heel. Today I was practicing not dive bombing to the bottom and keeping my Kats tight

Thanks man. I believe I'm 30# heavier than you and your recent achievement has made me happy for a friend but oissed me off to get back to my OG numbers lol

And I stay banging the rails by accident cuz I get too lazy to lower them [emoji]128514[/emoji]

This whole time I thought he was quarter squat gang



Lol jk bro good work. I can't wait till I'm able to barbell squat again. Been doing really light work because of my hips. Been doing squats with dumb bells to keep form good

Ain't never seen an Asian guy squat with bad form and this was always my theory. :lol:
