Rib injury has me off weights for at least a week. Super bummed and feeling worthless for missing deadlifts.

^Yea man..setbacks suck ***. Starting to think I broke my heel bone. Was hooping when I came down from a rebound and landed flush on my right heel. Going on 5-6 weeks and it's still tender. Was starting to get real freaky on the court too :smh:

That laziness has helped me this week.

I just realized that the nagging feeling being my knee is gone.

End of Amel curse?

I HIGHLY recommend everyone watch this video, you should be ready to run through a wall when its done.

Appreciated this video and just how forthcoming Stan is in general.

Drops a lot of gems in this video, idk what you guys mean when you say you don't compete so it doesn't resonate.

You compete every day in life, regardless of your gym goals.

The type of mentality that he is discussing should be used in all aspects of what you do.

Excellence is a habit that's fostered by discipline and sacrifice.

Sure he used specifics of powerlifting/bodybuilding but the message translates to all endeavors.

mine should be here today... i can't wait, myy work out partner yesterday forgot her meal at home and i ran out of quest bars.

btw that oatmeal quest bar was actually pretty good. not the best flavor but it's an improvement.

This ^ I feel like the only people are even going to brush this off, are the same people constantly programming and using the words he said. Hard works >

EXACTLY.

I understand that not everyone in here wants to be strong or jacked or even look like they lift but you should have something in life that you are somewhat competitive about or want to be successful at. You should always try to make progress in anything you do in life.

Its all about surrounding yourself with people better than you as well.

If you're the strongest in your gym then you're at the wrong gym, if you're the smartest in the room you're in the wrong room, etc.

Study on elevation training masks.

Key points

Wearing the ETM during a 6-week high-intensity cycle ergometer training program may improve performance variables, such as VO2max, PPO, VT, PO at VT, RCT and PO at RCT.
Wearing the ETM did not improve lung function, inspiratory muscle strength, or stimulate changes in hemoglobin or hematocrit levels.
The ETM does not simulate altitude, but works more like an respiratory training device.
