It's easier for me to go low as possible and pop up vs pause at parralel and push up at this point it's just part of my form.
 
I just squat back up the moment I get past parallel these days..

ATG is no bueno por me

I'm not even sniffing ATG. As soon as I get just past parallel, my knees start to cry

Maybe if I get some courage, I'll post a vid and get some critique

Theres less actually going ATG. Olympic lifters are the only ones that go that low.

The phrase ATG is more for social media cool points nowadays than anything else.

I think so too. Everyone is an expert on ig.

I haven't posted one lifting pic on ig. Actually I don't post anything. :lol:
 
Only reason I even stopped atg was tendonitis.

Do ATG squats aggravate or cause tendonitis? That may be my issue. I've been doing ATG since I started squatting and recently got up to 315 with it. Not sure if it's tendonitis but that's what somebody in here thought it might be. Doctors appt Tuesday though to get it checked out

That was my issue, haven't had it since I started parallel. I feel the same muscles being worked, no need to go that deep, it's a lot of pressure on the joints from that angle when you think about it. Only reason I'd even suggest it is getting comfortable in that motion and learning control with just the bar or lighter.

Overall, not bad. Its up there with questbar for me. Im a fan of how they used the chocolate chips and the bar is "doughy" HOWEVER when it comes to cookie dough i always go for questbar...idk the chewiness of the bar and the crunchiness is what keeps pulling me in.
 
Lower back was feeling a little off after yesterday's squat session. Went to the park and walked for like an hour and the discomfort is almost completely gone.


I should walk more.
 
Talked to about 3 people. I think i need lifting shoes... i dont wanna spend over 100. Any suggestions that arent romaleos
 
So what exercises do yall do in chucks/vans.
And is it only squats in those adipowers /romaloes

Ofcourse they dont have my size :frown:

if i wear between a 9.5 and a 10 in nikes (i think 9,5 with other brands) can i get away with a 9 on these addi?
