STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

Im about to change my routine, just cause. This tat put my gym flow on hold til probably tomorrow, ill give it another day.

About to switch it to back/shoulders/traps. Chest, tricep, bicep. Legs.

Ive done this before and had good results, had to stop this routine though cause of a minor injury. Im gonna do this about a month just for a change and then go back to something more traditional like bicep on back days.

I eat a couple cans after a workout sometimes wit some salad dressing and relish. pretty tasty. doesnt really do anything for my hunger tho.

Back @ crossfit, my back strain is at about 90% healed, did dead lifts today

Not much of a strong guy but I did 6 reps 16-12-9-6-3-3 and my last set was 143lbs...could have probably done heavier but didn't want to OD and hurt my back...our AmRAP was 15pullups, 15 arm rest push-ups, did three sets + 10 push-ups....ohh and we started off with about 400 single unders....I seriously love this class.

Good work Elk.  What's good with this spartan race though?  Wanna run?

The one in jersey?...**** time flies!...when is it?...had forgotten about it, I would loooove to!

I deadlifted 315 without straps and it was tough. I could have had a few more reps if I didn't have the bar slipping. With deadlifts being a compound lift like they are, I think there isn't a thing wrong with using straps to get those extra reps in considering the point of the lift is more total body.

how's your grip? are you using an opposite grip with palm up and palm down? bar still sliding?

Hittin chest and back today....

I think I need to slow down though, cause my shoulders are so damn wide that the extra muscle is really making it weird for certain clothing fits....
