Dressing Better Vol 2.0

stop telling him to rent a tux guys. you know damn well the rented tux will look like ****
Just go out and buy a suit. If you do h&m, definitely don't tailor. Not worth it being that it is lower quality.
If you really are about that life and have $700 to spend. Buy a suit for around $500. Get it altered. (You could even spend less and look fly since you might grow out of it) I know that prom is black tuxes and such but eff that. Cop a grey/charcoal suit (date's gonna have to deal with that). You will be able to use it for far more things than just prom.

or midnight navy..looks closer to black, and is also versatile

slow and steady wins the race, i really appreciate how this forum comes together, its crazy but is like Wis said, because even dudes that always throw shots have shown support, really humbled by the sense of brotherhood of this board.
I am sending the link to Family and co-workers (I have hundreds)

We are not losing this

Midnight Navy would be :pimp: . It certainly makes more sense to buy a suit, rather than a Tux, at this age. If you buy a suit and get it tailored then you can wear it throughout college and also as an indicator if you got got by the freshman 15

Sup fambs - repost from the Nike - Lunargrand thread. busted out the new Fragments this weekend. love em.

Also, another  at the collective hate towards Jace.

Prom is coming up and i wanted to ask y'all guys for help. Where can I find some good tuxedos? The most Im willing to spend on a tux is $700.

Buy a tux? :smh:

Rent one.. ask yourself when is the next time you will possibly wear a tux.

I agree with this.

Side note we should do a prom pic challenge and post our pics from prom. It would be interesting to see how times have changed
I wore a plain tux to my prom. It was similar to what the waiters were wearing, plus some were Asian like me. A teacher thought I was one of the waiters :smh:.

Do people wear regular suits to proms? I know they're styled a bit different from tuxedos. Just go find a nice one to rent.

looks like Im going for a suit, thanks for the tips

Good decision. I wish I had done this. I ended up going to prom 2 years and dropped like $110 each time on an ill-fitting tux rental :smh:
You'll look better at prom with the suit and will have it for years to come. Just make sure you still fit the dress code; don't dress it down too much.
