Elkin and Wis when is the J. Crew collection for Fall '13 dropping? I need this: http://acuratedman.tumblr.com/image/44081167286 badly. I've wanted a tweed suit in this color for awhile and frankly it's either bespoke or this...this is the better deal lol.

It never all drops at once necessarily, it usually drops in little bits. The pieces you want the most will seem to be the last to drop, trust me. :lol:

Yeah since it's fall I'm assuming they'll drop sometime early to mid summer....whenever it does GET IT....from my experience seasonal suits go with the quickness and rarely get restocked.

Thank you, good to know! Definitely will pick it up once it drops, the blazers and trousers run true to size or small? Will likely be ordering my next bespoke suit in the summer as well, if this drops before I do then I'll order something that is not a winter fabric or tweed...any idea if there is a waistcoat for this look?

looks like a ludlow. no offense but it may not work with your body man. as far as the fit of the pants, i can size down 1 comfortably in almost all j. crew pants.

To second TypeR the Ludlow is cut much slimmer and shorter than other suits, I went with my boy who's not really a big dude, just has really broad shoulders and barely fit a 42R...I was surprised...but it might be best if you go into the store Serg since I know you said you lost another 20lbs or so.

Try to follow this thread as much as I can, but I basically always lurk.

If this is a dumb question, try not to laugh too hard, but are any of you familiar with Alexander Nash or have had any work done by him/purchased any suits there?

Just found out a friend of mine is interning there, I've been taking a look at the tumbler and instagram pages.

Have a ludlow suit that I want to get tailored for a better fit, and was going to take it to a tailor in Summit, Nj (guy is legit, the only good one I've found in NJ), but thought about taking it to Nash instead.

Speaking of, Pinoy, is there a specific tailor you use in NJ?

i go to mar ant tailors in south orange. its basically 2 old guys. they are super old school but do great work. just know what you want to get done and be insistent. they will tweak anything and everything until they get it right. a little pricey but worth it in my opinion.

RE: your shoes, I think it's fine. Some of the more traditional gents dislike bulky shoes like Aldens with suits, but I still rock it. (The silhouette looks similar to yours).

Thanks, man! Marketing was my favorite class in the MBA program. The pay is :frown:

though I got a couple of job offers, but didn't even make it to the interview, pay wasn't even in the range.

I agree. If you have good clothes, you need to find a good tailor even if it may be pricey...it's worth it.
