Dressing Better Vol 2.0

What's a good/basic "dressing better" shoe that is brown? ($200 max)

I have loafers, drivers, etc..and I have a brown pair Cole Haan wingtip's that I got for H.S. graduation 2 years ago that are still holding up pretty well, but I need something else to wear with my suits.

Preferably brown.

GAP makes my favorite T-Shirts....the fabric and fit of the M is the best. Essential crew neck and V-Neck...it's all I need. I'm simple, I can wear a plain t and jeans all the time, I don't need crazy graphics so GAP is great for that...$10 can't beat it...

You srs? Had one and never went back. Shape is horrible and my small fit like a big mediun

The price isn't so nice but Emporio Armani makes the best t-shirts I've ever worn. The ones that just have a tiny logo (sometimes nothing at all) are less expensive than the ones with the brand in big letters or crazy graphics too.

I like J. Crew plain tees too. I haven't really found "my brand" yet. I want to try out Club Monaco's plain tees.

I like both the fits from J. Crew. The slim one works great for a more formal cardigan. The regular cut is great for a looser fit under say, a varsity.

Agreed, I also had a few of their Jaspé tees which were nice as well

Received My Uniqlo x Michael Bastian polos today. I only ordered one (the only one I really liked), but I ordered a medium and a large because I wasn't sure where my sizing would fall. Apparently I'm a medium, even though the arms are tight. If I wanna be James Bond-esque, I suppose I should keep the medium. Anyway, if anyone wants the large, let me know. I'd rather give it to a niketalker at cost than to ship it back to Uniqlo or try to make a profit on ebay.

Hows the quality on the things you guys ordered? Does the price justify the quality? :nerd:

Quality is pretty good, IMO. I was not expecting anything too great for $15 ties. If you were to compare their wool and knit ties to J. Crew, I would say they are tit for tat. Maybe someone else could chime in too.

Solid pickups, my dude. Surprised there were no Grizzlies inspired ties or pocket squares

 , I might find a blue/yellow combo soon :nerd:

Bzhmafia14 are those the 2" ties or the 2.5"?

A mixture of 2" and 2.5". All of the knit ties are 2", the 3 wool ties on the right are 2.5"

I might copy another tie bar thats an 1 1/2".

There was an Allen Edmunds showcase in Memphis at one of our high end Men's fashion stores in Memphis. Fell in love with these two pair

The leather is extremely soft and both shoes are comfortable. They do not have hard soles, which makes it even better. I'm not sure if those are in most stores yet, I'm sure you guys in the bigger cities have seen them or got them in stores. The guy was telling me that they have yet to release them (I'm assuming anywhere in Tennessee) .

Sorry for the pic quality, still trying to get me a nice camera

i always pick up a few when they hit the extra 40% off. i like their jaspe t's a lot too

Thanks for the support fellas. Interview the other day went great but I am an accounting major and this is more finance based so we'll see. I'm expected to hear back on Tuesday/Wednesday. Here's some pics of my outfit that day:

Was chilly in the morning so I'm glad I brought along my parka

While up there, I checked out Uniqlo's MB polos. Unfortunately the navy bandana with white accents was sold out in a medium. Here is how the other colors fit on me though (Mediums):

When I got back to NJ, I ended up hitting some thrift shops with my friend. Shirts are not as slim as I would want but they were decent at $3 a piece. Never had a dress shirt actually at the dress shirt length so finally I can tuck it in without worrying. I ended up cutting the pockets off as well. Will post pics later on.
As for the pocket square, the lady gave it to me for $1. I was happy :smokin

Finally, I ended up also scooping a pair of AE Delray's in a 9D for $2.50. Plan is to flip em which kinda blows. I've been coming more around on the idea of split-toes. If they were only a 10 :\

I will definitely post a pic tomorrow, my dude. The medium fits well in the chest and waist, but the arms are very tight. I'm 6'2 and 180 pounds, but I usually for mediums fine.

Man I hope my size small fits for the Uniqlo polo. I would have gone with a medium but they didn't have any for the styles I was interested in. I'm 5'9 140lbs. For those who have gotten theirs, do you think I'll be okay with a small?

pinoy how tall/how much do you weigh? the fit looks good on the mediums i just wanna make sure that i buy the right size if i make a purchase. thanks

small would be fine for you
Yeah man small should be perfect.
I'm 5' 10" 165lbs for reference fellas.

Thanks man, we're about the same size so I'm probably gonna gauge off how it fits...sometimes I get a L and shrink it once in the dryer if sleeves are too tight on shirts, seems to do the trick
