Dressing Better Vol 2.0

I'm shooting my own feature for TSB...I'm sticking with a sneaker theme...any input?...I'm really trying to rep our community of transitional sneaker guys into a more grown way of dressing, definitely pulling out a suit and sneakers look and definitely tossing a pair of Jays and a fit with my Yeezys...what do ya think?

^thats a great summer shoe. I'd def keep them.

Definitely leaning towards it.

They do look alot better on foot serg.

Yea I was pleasantly surprised. My wife wasn't too keen on them out of the box and I wasn't too fond of them either at first but when I put them on to sit the fit of the 11; the brown ones are a 10.5, she was like you know those don't look bad at all, kinda agreed with her.

^you trying to be K with that lace job, bruh?

LOL nope that's how they came laced out of the box, the Ksteezy method

I'm glad you decided to do it! What suit and sneakers? I'm usually not a fan of sneakers and a suit, part of me wants to tell you to do dress shoes with the suit.

I think you should show how you can still dress well while wearing sneakers and how everything is really about how things fit and no being matchy matchy with everything.

For suit If I may suggest I would do something like this: (from your blog)

For sneakers something along the lines of this:

what was the turnaround like on the shoebank for you guys? how many days does it take for delivery to come through? also what were the delivery prices for those of you in the tri-state?  I wasn't able to order today because groceries, etc. took precedent.  Now i'm down to $300 spending money and debating if I want to drop it on a pair of Strands or if the RLs are a better go...

Also I want these for my old housemate's wedding saturday, but if it def won't make it in time maybe I'll hold off til closer to the Sept. 2nd deadline.

plan on doing these kicks

and this suit

552880

will probably ditch the polo for something else, but that suit is perfect with kicks since its a summer suit and all...

I'm waiting for fall to do the suit with sneaker thing too

When I was driving around Santa Monica, I saw this guy in a bicycle with some BEAT up Yeezy 1s. I wanted to take a picture, but alas I was not in a position too. It was pretty awesome since most are scared to rock.

Those Nikes would look great with highwater chinos and trousers!

Awesome E. Now would you consider lunargrand-ing it up as a "sneaker " for one of your fits? Perhaps that with a full suit?

maybe, i do have a pair of lunargrands, probably not with a suit, i dont think Dan wants more than one suit look...lol

I wouldn't do Jays/Yeezys with a suit. But thats just my aesthetic. If I had to choose, I'd put money on a fit with dem lunars doe :pimp:

no im not doing a suit with jays/yeezys

the suit will go with those waffle nikes from jcrew, the LG's or a pair of flyknits at most.

Yes^ that's where I was going with that. Submitting my vote towards LG's for the suit fit. at the idea of yeezys with them otherwise. (However your black 2s with your black suit and grey tshirt might actually look dope haha)

I think the Lunars would work. Personally I don't know if you should go with sneakers for all 3 fits. What about with the suit fit, submitting for your first set pictures of that suit with a shirt and tie and dress shoes, then loosing the tie, switching the shoes to kicks and showing how to dress down the suit. Look 2 some Jays, Look 3 the Yeezy's.

Either way though, I think whatever you end going with is going to look fly man!

what are you guys thoughts on wearing a dark navy pair of fitted pants, and a dark navy light wool blazer to a wedding. I'm thinking of switching away from the basic suit look (I saw a friend do it with a more extremely disparate pairing and it worked but I'm worried navy on navy will just look like i didnt have a suit to wear.)

if im gonna go that route, i would throw on a pair of selvedge or indigo denim instead of navy pants...with a blazer, tucked shirt and tie, and some loafers or wingtips depending on the weather...
