Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Dressed better in my tinder pic. A great match was made. Compliments on how I dress were given. Yambs were obtained in the whip last night :pimp: I've come a long way since when I first ventured into this thread, and the females are taking notice. That's why we're dressing better any way isn't it? :nthat:

DB bro's. Undershirts or no undershirts?

I am an akward size and realized that i can basically fit mediums button downs with no under shirt. My chest is about 40 inches but my neck is 16inches...i also have longer arms so i roll my sleeves 90% of the time. But i sweat a lot and am worried about ruining shirts wearing them with no under shirts.

Is there a super thin under shirt that anyone recommends or just go under shirtless and carry around deodorant

I have to wear an undershirt at all times or I feel naked. Doesnt matter what the weather is like, I even wear wife beaters under tank tops in the summer. One shirt just feels :x

As pricey as it is, I bought some tees from HM that ended up being good undershirts being that theyre so tight. They dont mess with the flow of your above shirt at all.

I sweat a lot too man. One thing I've been doing which I've found helpful is putting on antiperspirant before I go to bed. You don't sweat as much at night so it has time to absorb into your pores. Make sure you are using antiperspirant and not just deodorant. I use Degree Clinical, it's pretty good. Also, finish your showers with cold water and wait 10-15 minutes until you put antiperspirant on in the morning, more effective this way.

As far as undershirts. These are pretty good for a slim fit:

But, because they are cotton if you get a sweaty armpit it's just gonna be damp and not really dry out. I've been thinking about trying some Under Armour undershirts because they are lighter than cotton and sweat would dry quicker. They are expensive but it might be necessary for this summer in the DMV. Swamp out here :x

Here's the Under Armour one I'm talking about. http://www.underarmour.com/shop/us/en/mens-ua-elite-v-neck-undershirt/pid1246467-100 Looks amazing but that price :smh:

Someone posted info about those things that keep your shirt pulled down and tucked into your pants a while ago. What are they? Does anyone use them? I know someone will know what I'm referring to.

I believe you are referring to rubber strips that can be placed on the inside of your trousers. I believe you can order online and have your tailor add them if he does not already have them on hand. My MAB sample sale scores all came with them. Helps a bunch.

they're pretty thin and helps wick away moisture.

I have to wear an undershirt as I too feel uncomfortable if I don't wear something under, not to mention I perspire a bit too. I will be trying the AIRISM shirts from Uniqulo this summer.

appreciate the feed back. I will just start with hanes slim fit and go from there. My cotton under shirts i have now get yellow pits in about 4 wears in the summer. I sweat all the time and my office is stuffy so i just sit in my sweat at work. But i was thinking maybe like night out i will just go undershirtless since i like the way the shirts fit better with out them.

Those UA ones are nice my room mate has one...but just wears it as a vneck shirt basically. $30 is tough to cope with will try the uniqlo ones too though

YOOOOOOOOOOO I really spent all day yesterday googling a method to keep my shirt tucked in all day, and found nothing of value. This is awesome. Thats going in the word document.

I also have a huge sweating problem and I use Certain Dri. It works really well, the liquid one works better than the powder kind I've found.

So does anyone know of any casual shoes/sneakers that can be worn with khakis? Our work is pretty casual so I usually keep it basic. No hard bottoms and generally in loafers, but looking to change it up.

The only options I can find to describe what i'm looking for, would be the Madden Omarr's and the Prada Americas cups. I cant stand those Prada's though, so if anyone can provide any other options, would be greatly appreciated.

Cop Maison Martin Margiela GATs, Common Projects Achilles,Converse Jack Purcells, Vans Authentics, etc.
Foamposites should be on the top of the list. Factoid.

I can only wear sneakers on Fridays. For the days I wanna feel a bit casual then it's desert boots for me. They look awesome with chinos.

Lol I hope so! And it doesnt matter. If they are quality i'll spend on the higher end and wear them casually and for work.

pinoy732 pinoy732 pretty much said what I was gonna. I'll add Balenciaga Arenas though if you can spend a little more. My personal favorites for casual Friday at work and doing whatever on the weekends. Adidas Stan Smith if you don't wanna spend that much.

How's the bulkiness of Stan Smith's as compared to like Common Projects? I just feel like the shoes themselves are wide and "fat".

Ive been trying to avoid these.. but they have been on my list of options as well. I just cant fade them, but if it necessitate.

The Balenciaga's I like, but wouldn't flow with many of my outfits. Casually or professionally.

Those Common projects might be the move. I was looking at the Jcrew Sawa hightops and also the 7 by mankind Calvins as well.
