Dressing Better Vol 2.0

It isnt hard to take the jacket out a bit is it?

It isn't as long as their is fabric there, most jackets do.

Thanks fellas. I thought the same. The guy is a tailor around my way, and someone recommended I get in touch with him regarding some work for me. After going through his Instagram and seeing pics like that I wasn't impressed.

I feel like my tailor should know exactly how a suit should fit, especially on himself since he is essentially promoting his own business...

As RFX stated this is usually customer preference. Some dudes just like it like that for whatever reason. It's frustrating seeing skinny dudes with jackets that pull.

I hear you. I'm just shocked to see a tailor with such pull on his own jackets. I would think a tailor should know exactly how a suit should sit on his own body. But I guess he wants to go for that uber GQ look. :smh:

Here is the post I found on reddit that explains how they did the extra 25% off on top of the 50% off yesterday:

I've been noticing a lot of price switching at J.Crew Factory, and I can tell that many of you aren't too pleased with the illusion of savings, so I have found a way to get the best deals at J.Crew Factory. Read on.

To start, J.Crew Factory has 2 types of sales.
(1). 20% to 60% off (Price as Marked) - This is their "sale", AKA the bait and switch. I'd advise you not to buy anything during this "sale".
(2). Extra 20% to 50% off - This sale is much more like it because it gives you additional percentage off. However, J.Crew Factory raises the prices before-hand(kind of-see below) so it seems like one is getting a good deal.
So right now you are asking, either choice is a bad idea.

So here's the solution:
If you notice, sale (1) says it ends usually at 11:59 P.M. EST of a certain day. This is however, not true. What I have noticed is that the sale (1) aka Prices as Marked, don't have their prices changed until a few hours later (4-ish hours) If by chance(a high chance) sale (2) happens right after, one can get an additional whatever percentage off sale (1). This is the time where you buy stuff because J.Crew Factory has not adjusted the prices to fit the extra percentage sale, so one gets a better deal

These are the times I've noticed that they HAVE NOT adjusted the prices yet.
Times to Buy:
9:30PM-1:00AM PST
10:30PM-2:00AM MST
11:30PM-3:00AM CST
12:30AM-4:00AM EST

Has this thread been dead? I know it had it's slow days but this thread is one of the hardest to keep up with. I don't enter for a day and sometimes there are like 100+ unread posts.

The diesel slander in this thread is deplorable.

Has there been many? This is the first time I've read someone say something bad about Diesel and I honestly do not even know what he meant.

Maybe you're confusing Diesel for True Religion?

in NYC, 10 years or so ago, Diesel sneakers were very trendy.

those GAT's remind me of them and I find both comparably ugly, imo.

I can proudly say I never, ever owned a pair of those. Always thought they were terrible, never saw the appeal in them.

It was all about Lugz back then for me.

a lot of ppl had those in HS

never had a pair, ive owned my fair share of diesel jeans and plain v necks though

Fellas, I'm thinking about wearing this jacket to an event and I need some advice on what color trousers/shirt would go well with it. Any input is appreciated

Because it has patterns on it, it's not ideal to mix it with different pants. However, it can be done. You need contrast so light chinos or even navy would work. Whatever you do, don't try to match the color of the jacket (unless you have the actual matching pants).

Looks like the quote is messed up.

Wj4:

You can definitely mix and match patterns and as well as other hues in the same color family.

I personally wouldn't pair it with chinos. I would wear with proper trousers.

Jacket is part of a suit.

Lots of choices. I would stick with a white shirt. Trousers: tan, gray or navy.
