while i love the look, i can't help but think that this fit looks appropriate for december than mid may. blackwatch strikes me as a winter appropriate pattern.

The temperature was appropriate for it plus it's a year-round weight so it worked. However, yes it would be more appropriate for that time of year. Will definitely rock it during that time but with flannel trousers instead.
