As for a belt, those trousers come with side tabs. No loops to even put a belt if you wanted to. My blue MAB, along with pinstripe and tuxedo are from there. All the same deal. Hell, if you are rocking a tux with a belt, you are definitely doing it wrong.
Also, if he had braces in that pic, he would be belt less again. Can't tell me y'all would rock braces and a belt or even braces and an untucked shirt

Even at that, a button down refers to collar with actual buttons to button them down. Not all dress shirts and casual shirts are "button downs".

Yeah, not into the other dude's getup. Leaving any kinda shirt unbuttoned halfway down your chest in public is never cool and it just looks worse on a popover paired with a suit (or blazer & slacks) plus loafers.

I guess they laid off QA. All of my slim fit shirts fit differently. The lapels are all marked 2.5" but I've seen some as narrow as 2" while my sport coats are 3".

A local guy was selling them because they didn't fit him. I took a shot on the size and they actually fit really well. A little extra room in the toe, but they're 11B and fit like a glove otherwise.

^ Not a fan of the pockets, personally. I do generally like Banana Republic blazers though.
