Hard Rock Punta Cana?

I often wonder the same thing; a lot of my friends are fortunate enough to have parents that will pay for the wedding or a large majority of it. One of my friends had almost every member of his family "donate" money to his wedding fund in order for it to get paid. PErsonally, I could never put that burden on my parents, but my girlfriend is adamantly proclaiming that her parents will pay for it (still makes me feel weird/inadequate). But in all honesty, I would much rather skip a large wedding and save that $15-$20 grand to put  a down-payment on a house. Those large weddings are mostly for women to stunt on their basic friends anyway; it's completely asinine.

Going through the same thing right now with my fiancées family...they want it big and lavish and im like we could do so many other things with this money, its not my money so my say is limited, but it just makes me feel some type of way when they talk about $140 a plate like its nothing.

Quick question to the DBNT crowd, what are some alternative websites to Zappos, Nordstrom for dress shoes

Does anyone know where I can find good quality shirts similar to the ones Michael Ealy wears in his movies? The long sleeve joints with 3 or 4 buttons? What's a good keyword to use to search for shirts like that? Or a name please. Thanks, yall.

Looks like the American Apparel henleys.

Any suggestions on suits in the 500-1000$ range?

I've been happy with suit supply. Online shopping is simple, they give measurements, and free returns makes it easy to try things on despite not having a store here. It just takes a long time and patience if you end up trying several different styles and sizes to find the right fit.

I buy my Aldens from Shoemart. I buy Vass and Carminas from epaulet.com

My trickers and other England brands are ordered from the UK so I can get a VAT discount.

I just bought a tux I don't plan on wearing until October for my wedding. How would you guys suggest I store it until then , meaning wooden hangers? Garment bag? Any help is appreciated.

My tux sits in my closet for most of the year on a wooden hanger and inside a garment bag. Seems to work just fine

I don't have a tux but I would also throw a moth repellent ball in the bag too. I do that with my suits and I wear them regularly.

Here's a question for you guys~

Why is it so hard to find a decent barber? My work schedule has changed, and I've been unable to see my regular guy. He uses only a straight razor, which isn't something that I have to have, but is something I appreciate. I'm not looking for another barber that has that exact skill set, but every barber I've been to just wants to use clippers. I'd like to find a barber shop that is proficient with scissors, and isn't looking to throw me under a flowbee. Am I asking for too much my NT brethren?
