Favorite purchase of the year: Barbour Bedale Wax Cotton Jacket. I love this thing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an over coat for mild fall/winter conditions. Perfect for bay area Cali winter weather.

Dope fits. What kind of boots are those?
I've got a pair of slim fit alpha khakis and they fit pretty close to those before tailoring too. The taper is just a little wider OTR but still pretty narrow IMO.

dockers alpha slim fit are more a straight leg fit IMO. You will need to taper them at least an inch to get the desired fit...assuming you are of slim to average build 140-175 and average height. 5'7-5'11.
If u wanna cop straight out the mall and ditch the tailor then hit Zara or cop some Topman from Nordstrom. Lower rise, slimmer through the whole leg and then nice taper all the way down.
just sheddin light. I copped some Alpha slims off someone's rec in here ..and I got some 31x30 with like an 8 inch leg opening lol..might be slim to some but it's not the modern aesthetic you see in magazines and whatnot
they might have updated their cut though..idk

8" would probably be slim straight as you stated. At this point, I like all from 7-8" where as 1-2 years ago, I was really uptight about having an exact fit. I would've had got that 8" hemmed to 7.25" or something
