Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Nordstrom rack sells the 1 pack for $15.

Online I've only seen the $45 set. I don't eem need that many

I don't want to risk losing them when I get changed for the gym during my lunch break so I just use plastic when I am wearing a tie.

45 PMs before 12AM PST.

They're doing better. Saw some shoes and boots at BR, they look great but pricey for what they are. Maybe the 2 for $250 AEs spoiled it. Lol.

Just looked at the second pair of dalton boots nordstrom sent me. Looks like they've been worn already. A few scratches on the upper and soles. Both heels look like a corner was cut off. A dent in one of the toes. Definitely sending these back too. Any other brand that makes walnut colored wingtip boots that look as good with better quality and rubber soles?

You can try Brooks Brothers house brand. Peal & Co. I think they are made by Alfred Sargeant. When I checked yesterday they had a pair of dark brown wingtips on sale for 300.

They ended up getting a new designer from J Crew. Technically her stuff isn't out until April but she's been hand picking what she wants to come out until then. Mainly greys and blacks with some jewel tones thrown in for good measure.

They def. stepped up their boot game although it's still a bit too pricey without a discount. Half off the boots isn't too bad of a deal though.

They use an array of makers such as Alden, C and J, and as you mentioned AS.

Thanks & repped. They look real nice but not liking the pebbled leather.

Sorry if you've addressed this already, but info on the chukka boots? Been looking for a dressier pair than regular Clark's. About to invest in a pair of Carminas or Aldens but would love to hear other opinions. Thanks.

These are from Boggi -- https://shop.boggi.com/en/prodotto/polacchino-scamosciato-3/

They're ok but I think you can probably find something better at a similar price point. I think Meermin's chukka boots are really nice. I like the shape of these a lot too http://www.loding.fr/_27_shoes_boots_rodney-brown-calf-velvet-box__376grodneyveauvelourmarron.html

So I need a suit by Thursday, and I checked J. Crew's website, and all I can say is

.

For a college student on a budget, are there cheaper alternatives with similar or almost similar quality?

Similar quality no. But H & M, Zara, Uniqlo, Macy's, or JCP would probably be your best bet. You could also go to a thrift store and you may be able to find quality for cheap.

JCrew offers extra 40% off then increases the prices on their items. :smh:

I swear the same shirts I bought a few months ago are up $10-$15 to compensate for the extra discount they are offering.

J. Crew has been doing this kind of **** for a while now. Kind of been put off by it.

Looks like I'm headed to H&M then.

HM suits are generally really bad quality. Not comparable to Jcrew in that regard. Zara has better quality IMO. They are more expensive than HM but not by thaat much. HM has diff "lines" not all stores carry their higher end line which is ok..but costs about as much as Zara does. U can get a decent suit from Zara for like 300 if u are in a hurry.

Okay I have another question. I don't know my exact measurements, but I wear a 32 in pants and small for shirts. I don't think there's a Zara around where I'm at. How should I go about ordering online?
