so much truth

The only other one they had was the wolf gray joints in scattered sizes for $110. I didn't wanna spend bread really but for $35 or so it was alright.

dress code is "business casual" at work about 2-3 days a week, so I showed up in a dress shirt, blazer, grey slacks on the first day.

Everyone was dressed in jeans with j crew button downs or denim shirts tucked in and aasics on

Where do y'all believe the best place to sell clothes is?

I have a bunch of chinos either NWT or NWOT from Topman and Asos I need to get rid of.

You're not going to get anything for them. May as well look into donating. If you have brand name stuff, go with grailed.com. I've sold probably 15 items on there. The regular stuff, ie J. Crew just sits. Figure in shipping, it's not even worth it. I've also used eBay and had OK luck. The fees are killer though.

That blows, but I guess I might try the eBay route just to try to get something back.  Maybe even just try to sell them as a lot for the low, since it's about 6 pair of unworn chinos and 1 pair of jeans all 30x30. Too bad I missed the free return window on all this crap.

Thanks for the heads up.

sometimes you just have to take the L, it might not be worth it spending too much time trying to sell stuff that doesn't have a high demand. But never hurts to try if you have the patience. good luck

I've sold on eBay before with common items like Levi's jean jacket, Brooks Brothers vest, etc. Prices ended at around $14-15. I asked $7-8 for shipping. After the Paypal and eBay fees, I'm not left with much. I just wanted to see how those items would do as an experiment.

PS there was a guy looking for an affordable messenger bag and I told him to look for J. Crew on sale. Now is the time. There are several bags on sale, and there's an ongoing 40% off sale. Should be able to score one for $50 or so. Quality is decent too, held me down for 2 years of daily abuse. Still have it in the garage, but no longer using it.

Yeah, that's how I'm looking at it.  Been sitting in my closet for a few months and were never worn, so might as well try.

I know Plato's Closet and Buffalo Exchange in Austin give you nothing but I might check them out as well.

If you know someone who can use them, I would just hook them up. That's what I do with most of my clothes that are in good condition. I didn't have much when I was growing up. The only things I sell online are the more expensive stuff that I know would sell, ie Alden, Margiela, etc.

Yeah I haven't been able to sel those two j crew jackets. I gave away all my supreme hoodies and jeans to NTers which I could've sold though lol.

At this point I'd be happy with like $40 or $50 shipped for my jackets which is a steal since they're some of j crews better items.
