You can try wearing thinner socks, as well as visit a local coherent cobbler to have them stretch the boots for you. The most they can be stretched is .5 size, but nothing is guaranteed as results always vary.
Thanks for the reply man. I'm going to keep them since they don't fit uncomfortably tight or anything. I feel like wearing them for a week or so would loosen them up to perfect fit.

i'm gonna sneak away on lunch break and take 3 purrs of pants to the tailor. long overdue

gotta make nt proud

Wow they have some steals at that winners place lol. Marshall's/TJ Maxx and nordstroms rack around me never have anything good in there.

This thread is GOLD.
It used to be a lot better, refer back to the first page and go from there. We put a lot of work on post 1.

Time to ditch the 7" leg openings and go back to the 17" joints. Saw that coming minutes ago...fitted top, loose pants. Horrible IMO. Only looks good on the runway worn by lanky models.

Sometimes you can't fall for the fool's gold though, man. Been there done that in my younger years...tried to finesse making .5 size work because of the price. But the pain was too much

Hautelook has an Allen Edmonds sale going on this week... Got some Madison cap toes for $200. Anybody had experience with that model/recommend them?

AE is the default brand for entry level footwear, lots of folks in here have them. Can't go wrong with brown and/or black captoes as starters.

Damn, I'm an entry level *****.:frown:
Nothing wrong with them, man. They're top crop for most dudes. I was just saying in the grand scheme of things. Meermin is dope too for around the $200 mark. I like their styling more and I have both brands.

Appreciate it bruh - I was actually asking more specifically about the Madison's... I know a lotta ppl in here seem to be on the Strands so just curious about thoughts on a diff model

My experience with ae wasn't good. I'll still give them a try if I ever need new dress shoes though.

Just breaking your balls.

I'll check Meermin, though. Got one pair of AEs and I'm not mad at the quality...but I'm a newbie when it comes to real shoes.

i have a pair of madisons, not a bad shoe however, a common complaint is that they are narrow, which i concur with...

i sized down from a 10.5E to a 10W, which worked...

$200 is a bit much for them imo, i think i paid like $170 maybe at Nordstrom Rack

my pair have rubber soles, which is nice if there is inclement weather

Good info NazDrowie, thx - I actually did cop two pair so I can try different sizes and return one.... so hopefully I'll be alright.

Always raining here so Rubber soles are a selling point for me.
