I've been told by a recruiter/hiring manager friend that the walnut strands I own would have been too aggressive and forward for an interview with his company (in finance.)

Then again, he also said a red tie would be considered too arrogant and aggressive for a new hire to show up in for an interview. So take it with a grain of salt. Wear what makes you feel confident.

I've bought a couple from the tie bar a while back but I actually don't find myself wearing them much anymore. I tend to like the look less than I used to.

Yeah I stopped wearing a gold one I had for a while but now I have no idea where it is. May have lost it in a hotel or had it stolen

Good kick for the fall though. Some dark jeans and a dark colored sweater with that brown suede and the orange soles would pop nice.

The whole midnight collection from JE is retroing. Their best capsule collection hands down. Just a heads up for those that are interested. It's the charcoal villain, midnight escobars, and moon tees. Also moon and charcoal tees dropping in all cuts.

Great once a week type shoe... Especially in the fall. Great comfort as well, I have the Chukka in the same Colorway.

Yeah I got the orange ones but I'm not sure how I feel about them. Going into government/politics so I think they may be a little loud to be a work shoe.

Found those^ on cole haan's site and used the 15% discount and they came out to 130 with shipping so I pulled the trigger. I'm gonna return the Orange ones.

I think these are much more elegant and subtle and would work well for an everyday shoe, they match with almost anything.

Anyone else have trouble fitting H&M pants? Found a jacket that fit well but the pants look like goddamn under armor on me Gotta ease up on the squats.

Anybody bigger (fat or muscle) that wears "Slim Fit" dress shirts? I typically go with "Fitted" but never felt Slim Fit was for me (I'm 5'8", 185 muscular)

I went to the DKNY outlet for some dress shirts the other day and there were only two options. The traditional didn't fit too bad so I went with that one.
