I'd also look at watch forums. I would buy out of state just to avoid the sales tax alone. That's what I did with my IWC. I have friends who would fly to Seattle to cop watches and come back a couple days later. The sales tax fueled the weekend getaway

Thanks a lot I'll look some up because I wouldn't mind saving a few thousand and taking a trip lol

Damn. It continues. A pair of NBs, wool trousers and 484 jeans all under $100 taxed.

Is Jcrew struggling right now or something? It seems like there's a 30%-40% sale every few weeks. Can't remember the last time I bought something full priced from there since 2013

I read an article last week that mentioned something about the company not doing well. I was confused since they still seem popular.

They're still doing well. They ventured to the UK lately and I think HK too. They're still profiting since they make such a huge run even at discounted prices.

They've always had these sales but once in several months they clean out to make room for the new seasons collection.

J Crew sale is only today correct?

Should have made the trip to my local so I could use my Student Discount

Nah man. Been buying half off the sale racks since last week. They're prob going to keep it running til inventory runs down. At least in store.

Well in that case....

Would love to grab some of the shawl sweaters they are sold out on the site in store. $15-20 for a sweater? Cannot beat that man.

I really dig this look. The user is skinny, like 5'11" at 130 lbs with 29" waist. It has that '80s feel to it. I don't think I can do it myself since I prefer everything fitted now.

Thanks, sarteaga0408 sarteaga0408 I thought the same but I think the difference is acutally .5 in Adidas like Henn said. I've seen this in other pairs before actually. Odd to me.

And I recently read too that jcrew is struggling a bit/declining in sales, at least in the US.

If you're talking about the WSJ article, it was only talking about Jcrew Women's. Sales dipped but that's merely because they're really focused on their men's wear and Madewell, the J Crew women's has been on the decline for the past few years or so . It's actually a decent read

hennessy hennessy good looking out!

Only listed as UK sizes. I'm a true 12US, I think I could even take a half size up on these though after trying on a 12 once. Is the difference in sizes from US to UK a whole or a half size. Seems like it differs sometimes

11UK=12US

Depends on the brand Serg.

I know when I helped my buddy obtain some english made Loake's that the difference was only 0.5

J.Crew is struggling by the way.

A buddy of mine works in one of the retail stores but was informed of over 100 people from corporate were fired fairly recently. There apparently was someone who made it through the cut and posted celebrating with drinks on IG. Apparently the person hashtagged something paralleling the firing of other employees with "The Hunger Games". Once this was found out, the person was also let go for lack of sensitivity (or something on the lines of that).

This was what my buddy told me of course so I have no link backing this up but I don't doubt it.

Yeah, what you posted refreshed my memory on the article I read. It was about the guy posting that thing on instagram. People were mad but just seemed like them being overly sensitive.
