ITT: Everything Electro/Dubstep/House/Trance Music

And some news ..

From Steve Aoki's show in Madrid:

After my performance last night at Thriller Music Park at the Madrid Arena in Spain, I was devastated to hear that three people had died during a crowd rush at one of the exits. The safety of my fans has always been my top priority and had I known that there was any distress putting people in jeopardy within the venue I would have ended my show immediately. My show in Bilbao, Spain tonight will be cancelled out of respect for those who lost their lives and those who are injured. I would like to express my deepest condolences and heart felt prayers to the families and loved ones during this difficult time.

damn shame

Europe is notorious for incidents like that at shows. They're very lax regarding crowd control at those events (and that goes for any large scale concert or music festival) and don't have nearly as many safeguards in place as the United States. Yeah, it may be more "free" in Europe, but it comes at a price sometimes.

Calvin Harris, R3hab, and Benassi :pimp:

Halloween raves are awesome, the females. :pimp:

Btw, can someone help me ID a song real quick. I think it's Ellie Goulding singing, "must be the reason why ..."

That's all I remember.

r3hab is dope, saw him open for someone. killed it.

I'm not sure if any of you are big Above & Beyond listeners, but they just announced some major news. Their legendary weekly radio show, Trance Around the World, will be concluding with TATW450 next weekend after 9 years. It's a tough pill to swallow, but there might be something to be found over at http://www.aboveandbeyond.nu/radio.

Damn that sucks |I

I know Crookers just split too, one of them is carrying on the name and the other is doing his own thing. I'm pretty bummed about that they're one of the main reasons I got into electro house.

I'm posting from my phone, but they are starting up a new show titled Group Therapy.

Armin NYC NYE, cannot wait :pimp: . He said he is playing from 11:30-3:30; he wants to be playing when the ball drops.

As stated by macbk, their new weekly show will be called Above&Beyond Group Therapy Radio. Same format, 90 minute show with a 30 minute guest mix, taking place at the same time on Fridays. Basically TATW450 = ABGT001, according to one of their tweets. Apparently there will be new interactive features online to go along with the show, making each weekly show more of a Group Therapy session. Definitely a relief.

love trance around the world and will follow them into group therapy. any other podcasts out there worth listening too?

Armin Van Buuren's "A State of Trance" is pretty nice, but it's only ~20 minutes long. Still quality, though.

Hmm... All my episode I get through iTunes range from 17-30 minutes long.

ASOT on Electric Area is def 1HR+, most of the time 2HR. Not sure why iTunes has it ~20min. Weird.

Fedde le Grand's Dark Light Sessions goes hard too.

what you have is the ACTUAL itunes podcast, he also has EPISODES of ASOT every week that are 1 1/2 to 2 hours. these are not directly podcasted so i dont think you can find them on itunes. he also has A STATE OF SUNDAYS. (theres a reason hes the #1 DJ )

everything can be found here on his official ASOT site.
