ITT: Everything Electro/Dubstep/House/Trance Music

My brother is friends with industry insiders and famous EDM DJs. According to a famous DJ from Dash's home of the Netherlands, he has a ghost producer that gets half of what he makes. And he's had this same ghost producer from the start.

Actually there's a little bit of a ghost producing epidemic in the EDM world, especially with Dutch DJs.

^^Damn, sad to hear that about Tiesto. Hope it's nothing too serious.

Anyways, can any NT fam put me on any tracks with nice vocals and a catchy beat/drop?

Songs like the following, to list a few:

Chasing Time - Vicetone
Strangers - Myon & Shane 54
Under Control - Calvin Harris
I Could Be The One - Nicky Romero
This Is What It Feels Like - Armin Van Buuren
Reload - Sebastian Ingrosso
U (W&W Remix) - Gareth Emery
Colors - Tritonal
Like Home - NERVO
Sanctuary - Gareth Emery
City Of Dreams - Alesso & Dirty South
Atmosphere - Kaskade

Thanks in ad*****.

All those big name dudes have ghost producers outside of a couple like Gartner, Kaskade, Prydz and mau5 IMO

this day and age I'm more surprised if artists DON'T have ghost producers or writers

Above & Beyond right now on Ultra. Van Buuren at 9:40, Carl Cox at 10:40, Deadmau-Five at 11. All EST Carl is playing in a separate stage

Deadmau5 trolling ultra with that old macdonald x animals

I saw that

also as always he got flamed on Twitter last night after his set and got into an argument against Tiesto talking about sarcastically playing Levels seeing as Avicii is in the hospital and using Animals. people also said his closing part sucked

oh Deadmau5, forever a D-bag about the genre you're in while claiming you're not part of it

The chat box anytime Cox is on :smh:

Missed it but what happens when he's on?

And just watched what deadmau5 did

One of the funniest things I've seen in a minute. I used to not like him and think he's a d-bag, but that **** was too funny and real

If you get the irony and why he's doing it, and the audacity and balls it takes, it's too much [emoji]128514[/emoji]

Everyone was complaining about how boring it was and how Krewella should've been on and **** with some people getting upset over the comments. Then it started getting racist :smh:

I'm cool with mau5 doing that. He's a **** but even though he's a corporate name, he's stuck with his formula for music and doesn't really make popular big room ****

I just hope the Torrent world is on their A game so I can get a repeat of last year's UMF which had everyone's set nicely ordered and good quality

By the way, mark my words...

Vicetone is the next big duo to take over the EDM scene, gonna be a household name very soon

anyone remember who from this thread or in our community had a position with mixmag?

RIP Frankie Knuckles...

Beat was awesomely used in this Candi Staton track... Which was used in the Layer Cake soundtrack (with Daniel Craig & Sienna Miller).

I kept hoping it was just a messed up April fools joke since he posted on twitter the night before. RIP to the man I never got to experience in person but brought a lot of enjoyment via his mixes into my living room, bedroom and car.

^ That's the first thing I thought, but that's too horrible of a practical joke... Dude was only 59 years old... That's too young... It's a term too loosely used nowadays but Knuckles was a pioneer... RIP...

crazy that dude passed. he was inducted into Pete Tong's hall of fame a few months back and did a phone interview. Also played his song tears.

and I heard the Candi Station tune pretty recently as well. crazy ahead of its time considering the version that most younger fans know (Mark Knight's remix to Florence and The Machines's version,) is so similar and still holds up.

R.I.P.
