ITT: Everything Electro/Dubstep/House/Trance Music

I've been listening to this set while working...

Listened to this last night :smokin

Man I passed the opportunity to see him a couple months ago because I was really tired that night and figured I could catch him next time he's here :smh: :frown:

^ That's the first thing I thought, but that's too horrible of a practical joke... Dude was only 59 years old... That's too young... It's a term too loosely used nowadays but Knuckles was a pioneer... RIP...

and one of the only people that was in it from day one and got to see it actually flourish into a worldwide music movement. Levan, Hardy greats that passed on before they could see what the fruits of their influence.

glad i got to see him play a couple years ago.
it was my birthday, and he had me bouncing all nite.
RIP.

apparently Anonymous hacked Deadmau5's twitter go check it out, I can't link his twitter for some reason

Any love for the Bay Area's own Ken Loi? Homeboy apparently went to my HS (J. Kidd, D. Lillard, now K. Loi) and College (UC Davis, home of the pepper-sprayed)

He's partnered closely with Tiesto, opened & headlined at XS/Marquee, and even has his own SuperCuts commerical

Ken Loi - All It Takes :pimp:

Ken Loi - The Wall :smokin

Ken Loi - Don't Stop The Love :nthat:

Didn't know if this was the right thread, but can anyone point me in the right direction of good Electro Pop/New Wave songs from the 80s?

Anybody into the classic oldschool Chicago house records?

Mr. Fingers? Marshall jefferson? derrick may (detroit techno to be precise), frankie knuckles (orig from nyc?) rip

If you haven't checked the new Detroit Swindle album out I highly recommend you do.

one of my fave house producers. saw them not long ago. it was sweet.

the new max graef album is fire too.

oh, and u can listen to the new joey anderson album on RA right now.
not as easy a listen as the other two, but if u like deep, dark, spacey, trippy house that flirts with techno,
take a listen.
