saw Flosstradamus and Madeon halloween weekend in San Jose. they both played all their classics and rap wise Floss mixed in Hella ****, MaaD City, Too Short and Mac Dre (this is the bay after all) and Young Thug's I'm a stoner. few others but I forgot. great set. if you ever wanted to see petite asian girls try to twerk there was your chance. I saw Gorgon City at Outside Lands but missed him and Lxury when they came to SF like a month ago because I had no one to go with

People like that type of music. I've seen Hardwell a frew times - 2011 at Beyond Wonderland and '12/'13 at EDC. They were all really fun.

don't get me wrong I like Hardwell and EDM in general but I love other subgenres more. Hardwell gets voted top DJ so of course he'll get promoted out the butt when his shows are announced. unless I look deep into artists' schedules I won't know that they are playing in my city until its over (Ben Klock) for a lot cheaper too. its popular right now so they get the shine unfortunately. Does that mean I'm not a real fan if I ignore my favourites to go with what's popular right now? maybe, but then again this is the music industry which has its rules set in stone of whats in and out and most importantly what gives you the most money. I need to be more in tune with this genre because a lot of the good ones are hard to find. this can be said easily for Metal, Rap, Country etc. as well.

well, actually now that you say that, i do get why certain demographics could potentially like it.
its the same reason why some people like justin bieber or nicki minaj, or migos or whoever.
but i dont GET it metaphysically lol
