Went to Hard Summer both days. Never going back. It's like they took my money just to line their pockets instead of investing in the equipment and logistics. Speakers were garbage when they were working, and it seemed like they either turned it down or they blew out at some points. I was standing directly in front of one of the satellite speakers away from the main stage and could hold a casual conversation with my friends if I wanted. Purple Stage (which was indoors in what looks like a barn) was a cluster-f. Packed like sardines and it felt like I was in a steam room even though they had giant A/C units that was of course turned off. No speakers in the back, same situation where I could hold a casual conversation. Absolute garbage.

At least Jack U was live.
Which speaker and which stage? All I remember was the right speaker @ purp stage not working on saturday. You cant expect to get good sound from the main stage though unless you get good positioning, which most people didnt get with 40k people.

I dont see how this is different from other big fests; which fests have speakers in the back?? Ive been to dozens of fests and dont remember any one with speakers in the back

I had a BLAST

You've been to dozens of fests and you've never seen speakers away from the stage? You ever been to Coachella? They got it on lock.

For the main stage at Hard, they have satellite speakers in the back. Those were the ones that were either blown out or turned down. I had really good "positioning." I was standing right in front of those speakers.

Never been to coachella. I didnt see back speakers. I saw speakers at the vip area but thats closer to thr front than back.

Enough but i dont overdo it. If you were anyehere near those speakers, youre not gona have great sound. The mai stage sucked though so i did my best to avoid it. Easy with jack u and dillon headlining.
