As summer approaches some of us will be wearing Polo style Ralph shirts. I found a great interpretation of the different fits as far as cuts and measurements of these short sleeves. I think it is a good guide to find what fits you best.

They did kind of kill the allure of P-Wing & Stadium because before all the retro inspired stuff they were considered the elite of all the serious collectors. Never had much myself prices people want for OG pieces can be pretty crazy.I love me some P-wings but damn, what a fall from grace... I’m an idiot.
Said I’d be buying less RL this year…
Ended up focusing on RRL stuff (mostly the patchwork limited edition shirts) …
But also home stuff now.
love the look of the Rrl ranch, and when Ralph has folks eating or sitting outside.
So, started putting together a collection to have that sort of look when outside (patio/backyard)…
-rrl camp blankets (2x)
-Naiomi glasses x polo blanket
-Rrl pillows (2x, think these were made for the stores… and not sold retail?)
-old school rl southwest fleece blanket
-RRL terry beach towel (not a huge fan of most Rrl towels, especially at $150… but they did one a year or two ago that had a rug look, which I thought could work well)
Said I’d be buying less RL this year…

yesterday arrivals
-Holiday 2023 RRL patchwork stocking
-polo sportsman large patch
Got lucky with the stocking. I’ll save pics of stuff I’d like to grab… sometimes will google image search it to see if anyone’s got it for sale.
Did the stocking last Sunday, and some store in the Uk popped up (great divide). They had 1 and it was on clearance (did inventory maybe?).
Even with the ridiculous shipping, think it came out to $80-90 shipped?
Polo sportsman patch is from one of those guys on ebay that is clearly selling extras from the factory themselves. They have like every patch ever made.
Going to grab some of the sportsman and outdoor ones.
Hoping to re-upholster a chair with them - going for an RRL patchwork shirt look… and then get some custom pillows made to put the rl outdoor patches on. (Stealing the idea from a club chair they had in an RL store once… I think it was the Rugby store in Chicago.)
i am close to having my ideal (starter) outdoor setup….
Got lucky that Priscilla Presley did an estate sale, and guess they bought tons of stuff they never used. Grabbed an unopened 80s Polo Country denim tablecloth for $86 a while back.
Grabbed some old polo denim table cloths… and some original 80s (I think) distressed American flag table cloth holders.
Need to get appropriate China/glasses… maybe the RRL coasters…
Not sure what else, but it’s getting close.

“doing pretty good but not rich” financial situation
to
“Completely screwed” financial situation.
any big bank types (especially in Chicago) interested in deep collection RL stuff (Rrl clothing and home, polo country clothing and home, entire academy chinaware set, 30 yards of rl equestrian print silk, etc)… msg me!
